Salutations, dear friends! I am Aeralyse.

The basic fact is that I'm a reader. I was a reader first, and writing just followed suit. I'm certainly not the best writer, and though I've been writing for years now, I'm only now learning put to use refining and improving my writing skills. I welcome constructive criticism, as I believe it benefits neither the reader nor the reviewer to say "Well, you know... it was... good". Once, I heard that "there is no such thing as a writer, only a rewriter." There is always room for improvement, especially in such a large and varying art as writing, be it prose or poetical.

For me, the hardest part of the writing process is getting started. I know most people normally find it hard to do the editing, but that's the easier part for me because that is when I'll come up with new, better ideas for the piece. Brainstorming is my struggling point, thus, I normally wait to get bit by the inspiration bug... and that happens at the most random places and situations.

Since I entered adolescence-yes, I'm a teenager-I've written pretty much only romance. I'm a desperate hopeless romantic, though I am quite big on action flicks. I don't really aim to write any sad pieces, as happy endings just make me so happy, but I've been told some of my story endings are sad. I dislike angst because it hurts me when I see the couples I love so dearly get messed up.. or separated. (Aren't I pathetic?)

So... here are my favorite couples. And trust me, the list of ships is much, much longer than what you see here. These are just the ones I immensely enjoy writing about, in no particular order.

Current Projects:

EdxWin- oneshot series. Writing stage: First drafts- 3/5 completed. Titled "Over the Years". A collection of domestic EdWin pieces that could probably stand alone; they are pretty much my first attempts at light-hearted fluff. Glimpses into Ed and Winry’s lives throughout the years, from before they got together to empty-nester syndrome.

ZeLink - oneshot, bordering longshot. AU-Twilight Princess. Writing stage: Draft/Edit. Link and Zelda, fellow college students and best friends, take a day off during Spring Break to head down to the local zoo. (Let's see how cliche we can get and still get away with it!)

Projects On Haitus:

ZeLink- oneshot. Post-Twilight Princess. Writing stage: Draft. As a favor for a friend, Link and Zelda attend a play that could end up potentially changing their lives.
