Let me tell you a little bit more about myself, well let's see what I should talk about first...

Darkness and mysteries describes me, and light shines upon me. My love is different than what it seems, while his love is a kind of poison that runs through my veins and slowly works its way to my heart...

I always say that "Love is a kind of Poison"-one of my many favorite quotes, the others are further down the page...

Name: Catherine (But my friends call me Aurora Hargreaves, you guys can call me that if you wish...)

Age: Who wants to know? Fine I'll tell, I'm 15. (Just don't say anything about it! I'm serious!)

Where I live: 19th Century London, England...yeah and I live with Cain Hargreaves, the Earl of Poisons himself (I wish!) Really, I just love Cain, since he is absolutely perfect! And if he was real, he'd be mine! And just the way he looks could make any girl faint!

Likes: Hmm...I love to read all kinds of books (mostly manga), drawing, strawberries, hot/cute anime guys, my trustworthy best friend (she's always there when I need her the most), Cain Hargreaves, and the rest of my anime boys...and other things.

Dislikes: I really don't like thunderstorms at all, being left alone, or being betrayed (Godchild wise) or anything else under that category!

More About Me: I love to play the piano, I'm going to learn to play the flute soon for band in my second year (going to be fun but a lot of work!) I love to write a lot! Draw manga in my spare time and write music (lyrics and all.) Still, I have so many ideas for stories, I don't have time to even catch up in writing or typing time at all! But there's one special story I'm still currently working on, and It's still not done, because it's still in progress...(seriously I might try to type it once I'm done, but it may get pretty long!)

Chapter 1 from my "newly thought up" story: Connections to the Past (still haven't literally written in a notebook/typed it or saved it onto my flash drive yet, so this is just the rough draft) ( disclaimer: I don't own The Cain Saga or Godchild, they all belong to Kaori Yuki, well except the two characters Aurora and Cassandra Harlington and their parents, teachers, etc. belong to me.)

Chapter 1: Finding Pasts

My name is Aurora Harlington-Aurora "Catherine" Hikari Harlington.

Really the one thing that is weird about me is that I'm a real bookworm, so is my older sister Cassandra-Cassandra "Toshi" Rose Harlington. But we really love manga and anything supernatural, this is why almost everyone avoids us. And its just because of who we are, still our life became somewhat exciting once we started reading The Cain Saga and Godchild by Kaori Yuki. Because that was when everything started to change...

I am 16 years old, so's Cassandra-but she's five minutes older. She has light/dark brunette hair, green eyes with a tint of gold, while I have ebony black hair with brunette highlights, chocolate brown eyes that may appear to look as dark as midnight. Those are the only differences between us, but we always end up to same height, very "natural" in my opinion.

Everything changed the day I walked into the IMC of Carl Sandburg-Tinley High. Cassandra wasn't with me at the time, since she was at our morning anime club, taking "notes" on the fundamentals of anime for the both of us. While I was at the IMC and just wandered into the graphic novels section, right where the books by Kaori Yuki were located. And while I was looking at the Godchild volumes, and put them each back on the shelf, I came across a black leather silver bound volume, and so I took it off the shelf. It didn't even have a title on it, but that was okay, because as long as I had a book, I was fine. But I didn't want to "steal" it, so I had to talk with one of the librarians.

"Um..," Really, I didn't know what to say once I walked up to the front desk, so I just put the book on the table.

"Did you find something new Aurora?" Mrs. Haruki asked as she took a look at the leather diary.

"Yes, but I might have this one back by tomorrow, so I won't be holding on to it long," I explained.

"Keep it, no one is going to read it except you and Cassandra, besides no one in the library will miss it at all," she confirmed and I couldn't help but smile.

All of our classes went by in a blur-not really, there wasn't any homework at all, but I didn't even get to take a look at the diary until lunch, well we finally did-once I told Cassandra about it. And just by the look on her face, you could tell she wanted to read it. But once I opened the diary, on the first blank cover page, what was written down had me shocked, so was Cassandra, because it read:

Property of Cain C. Hargreaves,

Earl of Poisons

Please tell me I'm dreaming, I thought. Apparently Cassandra was thinking the same thing, because of the dreamy look on her face. We were both snapped out of our thoughts by the bell signaling the end of lunch. After the rest of our classes, we rode the bus home. No one except us was home, since mom and dad had to work late, so we both walked upstairs to our room, and our house is huge. It's really a mansion from 19th century London, England. But our parents never let us step into a locked room located in the basement-it's either they have the key (doubt that) or it's located somewhere in the house. Our plan is too find it and see what's in that room...okay back to our situation.

Now, I just took the book out of my backpack once Cassandra and I took our respective places on the bed, I then opened the diary and this entry was written:

December 1, 1895

Well, I'll be writing my thoughts down from now on, because father forbade all of the servants except my tutors to speak to me, and I'm always in trouble, even when I didn't do anything wrong...

But I am the one who was cast out of the Garden of Eden, the boy with the cursed name-the one marked by God to wander the Earth for the rest of eternity.

My name is Cain Christopher Hargreaves.

And that was what he wrote for the first entry...
