Just bought a MacBook Pro!! (because my other laptop died a slow and painful death)

So I am a huge fan of, well, fanfiction.

I'm 20 (Oh my Rowling, no longer a teen!), Australian, and tend to procrastinate when I have assignments by writing fanfiction. I post more frequently around exam time, funnily enough :P

I'm a complete anglophile which means that I love anything English and am 'fond of' British culture. I even watch Antiques Roadshow from time to time :P

I am also a youtube-aholic and a NERDFIGHTER! (which doesn't mean I fight nerds, it means I am a nerd fighting against 'world-suck' on behalf of nerds... sounds a bit odd, but if you follow the Vlogbrothers (Hank and John Green) then you'll understand :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyQi79aYfxU

I love Doctor Who and am a huge fan of the tenth Doctor and Rose. David Tennant is brilliant.

Harry Potter is my favourite book series and also my favourite fandom to write on. I love Lily/James and also Remus/Sirius, although I don't really write about them much.

Dr Who/Torchwood wise, Ianto/Jack is my favourite ship but I also go for Tosh/Owen. Absolutely no Jack/Gwen - it's just off!

So, that's pretty much me. I want to write my own original story sometime soon (well, I've already started) and it's really thanks to all the encouragement, reviews, constructive comments and support that I've received on this site :)

Constructive crit is good, flames are bad.
I believe if you don't like a story purely because it has a lousy plot, you shouldn't leave a review flaming it.
If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. This goes for all stories, by the way, not just mine.
I think this website is a great opportunity for writers and they shouldn't be discouraged in nasty ways (such as narky review just rubbishing the plot and such forth).
Also, I hate it when authors put ANs in the middle of a fic - wait til the end! it won't kill you!

Scribblings of a Redhead and a Quidditch Captain - My first chaptered fic. LJ (of course) with Sirius/OC and Remus/OC. All about how Lily and James got together. It's your typical LJ at Hogwarts fic, except longer. I quite like it, but maybe I'm being biased again.
Scribblings, the Sequel (better title has yet to be thought of) - Selfexplanatory, though - it's the sequel to the first scribblings. More angsty and deadly than the first... but still good, I hope :)

Please note:
My earlier fics are poorly punctuated - that is to say, pretty much all my Doctor Who ones are missing commas (despite my being comma happy)
If you're looking for something nice to read - try my LJ stuff - it's spell checked and all (even though, in one chapter, I think I used the wrong there - it made me cry)
So, yes, just a warning to all the grammar nuts!

Freya (childforever) for putting me onto fanfiction, even though she chose to do so during the most important year of my academic career (ie year 12) which meant that I consequently spent all my time on this site instead of studying... whoops. But I still did pretty well, I think, so it's all good. And Fanfic provided me with a safe 'happy place' when Maths Methods got to be too much for me, so that's a plus. Thanks Freya - and keep up the great work on your fic (it's really good, by the way, you should all check it out...except I can't remember its name - it's a Peter Pan fic)
