so, im a 17 year old doctor who fan and i own a sonic screwdriver. in fact, i think everyone should invest in one coz theyre rather handy.
About me (if you really want to know - which i doubt):
i go to a girls school in melbourne, which can be a bit dull at times, so i like to escape to the world of doctor who or harry potter. although i only got into dr who since the new season (with Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant) i consider myself a true who fan. And i've been a HP fan from the beginning, but i've recently gotten into lily and james fanfiction - they are the cutest thing since forever. dare i say it, cuter than the doctor and rose..? better not - they are different sorts of cute :)
last year i had a murder mystery birthday party, and my friends made me a life size tardis out of a cardboard box. it sounds a bit sad but it made me rather happy so i dont really mind.
im absolutely in love with david tennant (as all normal people should be) and ive decided to visit the UK after year 12 just so i can track him down and introduce myself. but im not obsessed...
i've just recently gotten into harry potter fanfiction as well. I love Lily and James stories and im currently trying to write one of my own. But they are so cute together!!
i have recently decided that i will actually be marrying james potter rather than the doctor, because james is just perfect in every imaginable way. it's a pity he's a fictional character. (he's real enough in my heart lol)
TV: i also love other shows such as torchwood, coupling (also by steven moffat), that 70s show, futurama, spicks and specks, summer heights high, the chaser's war on everything, supernatural, midsommer murders, goodnight sweetheart, the bill, wire in the blood, poirot, new tricks, fawlty towers, antiques roadshow (which i probs shouldnt own up to) and lots of other stuff. i watch WAY too much telly.
ive been dancing since i was 6, ballet and jazz, and im now an assistant teacher for a couple of classes, but u probs dont care about that.
Future-y stuff: i have no idea what i want to do when i leave school/go to uni, but maybe journalism or television production - working on doctor who would obviously be my dream job, but my mum tells me thats just wierd, but what would she know?
maybe i'll be an english teacher, although if you go back and read my earlier dr who stories, you may disagree with my decision based solely on my yucky punctuation that i can't be bothered changing.
Other: im comma happy, when in doubt i comma, in fact, usually i comma when i should full stop. This is probably why i'll never be a journo.
Im an aussie - i like the beach (but not sand), i like bbqs (but not sausages) and i love hot and/or rainy weather.
I like pirates of the carribean, centre stage, national treasure, harry potter, what a girl wants, shes the man, strictly ballroom, casablanca, live and let die, etc.
DR WHO STUFF:
I'm big on the whole ten/rose relationship, and i think that they should be together forever, but still stay true to their characters - im not sure if the doctor will be ready to 'commit' any time soon, which is a pity.
I'm going to go and keep writing my fanfics now and/or continue constucting the inside of my tardis - it was a birthday present, i swear!
david tennant, if ever you should read this, im available. and another word, very.

HARRY POTTER STUFF: (lily james all the way)
my oneshot, scared, is highly predictable lovely fluff (if i do say so myself) so if you're in need of a bit of lj action check it out.
my chaptered lj fic - Scribblings of a Red Head and a Quidditch Captain - is so much fun to write and is now officially longer than the first harry potter novel (i think i might, just might, be spending a bit too much time on fanfiction...)
it's all about lily and james during their seventh year and how they finally get/got together.
there is some remus/OC and Sirius/OC stuff, which is fun to write.
personally, i think it's a pretty funny story, but that's coz i wrote it.

i generally dislike out of canon fics, pairing wise, but it works sometimes. but i cannot read about lily with other marauders! it is just wrong!

Please note:
My earlier fics are poorly punctuated - that is to say, pretty much all my dr who ones are missing commas (despite my being comma happy)
If you're looking for something nice to read - try my lj stuff - it's spell checked and all (even tho in one chapter i think i used the wrong there - it made me cry)
So, yes, just a warning to all the grammar nuts!

except i'd like to thank my friend freya (childforever) for putting me onto fanfiction during the most important year of my academic career (ie year 12) - please note vague sarcasm coz im going to fail school now coz i spend too much time here. lol, jk! i love fanfiction and im eternally grateful lols
also thanks to my sister (heytheregeorgiegirl) (i think i spelt that wrong) who put me onto lj fics which are addictive and take me to my happy place
