For your convenience, all of my favorite stories in my profile are Advanceshipping stories, including the ones that do not mention the words Advanceshipping, AaMayl, satoharu, AshxMay, etc. in their summaries. So to be sure to stop by my profile daily and check to see if there are any Advanceshipping stories you have not read yet. In other words, if the story does not show up on the search when you type in Advanceshipping, then I might have it in my favorites.

Favorite coupling:

Starcraft

None, Starcraft is more of a war game and it is better off without romance.

Pokemon

Advanceshipping ( Ash and May ) : Their personalities compliment each other and they fit together like pieces of a puzzle. They are a little similar but different enough to make them a matching pair. In other words, Ash and May are parallel of each other.

Although May has gone to Johto with her rivals; this does not mean the end for Advanceshipping. Remember, all of May's rivals are going to Johto, not just Drew. She has a couple reasons for going to Johto, the first one is to retaliate against her rivals, especially Harley and Solidad. Johto is also a proving ground for May. Since she wants Ash to see her in a different light she needs to prove that she is can stand on her own two feet by being able to travel and train alone, enter the grand festival in Johto by herself, and stand her ground against her rivals.

Before May left for Johto, she left her bulbasaur with Ash's bulbasaur at professors Oak's lab. The pokemon appears to be or will be involved in a romantic relationship and since pokemon usually reflects their trainer's feelings, it is likely that the bulbasaurs's respective trainers, Ash and May, have romantic feelings for each other.

If May and Drew ever had any feelings for each other they would tell each other about it since they are traveling alone in Johto ; so if May is finished with the Johto Grand Festival and she leaves Johto without any relationship with Drew then she does not have any feelings for Drew.

Orangeshipping ( Tracey and Misty ) : The reason why I support this relationship is not because it gets rid of Misty as a potential companion. I support this relationship because Tracey's attitude and personality is compatible with Misty. The age difference is probably very minor so one can understand and communcate with the other more easily. Tracey is less likely to make Misty mad so there will be less conflicts between them.

Neutral pairings:

Pearlshipping ( Ash and Dawn ) : Ash and Dawn may be compatible but its not as good as Ash and May. The age difference is also tremendous.

Ikarishipping ( Dawn and Paul ) : I could have supported this relationship if Paul was not so cruel and the age difference is not so big. ( Paul is actually around Ash's age because he participated in almost the same number of pokemon leagues as Ash has participated in. Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn )

Penguinshipping ( Dawn and Kenny ) : I could support this relationship because they were both childhood friends so they know each other very well. However, Kenny has not appeared often enough for me to make a decision.

Disliked Pairings:

Pokeshipping ( Ash and Misty ) : With Misty's fiery temper and Ash's determination, the two have and will cause a small argument to spiral out of control and turn into a large conflict. It is a good thing that Brock and Tracey traveled with them to stop arguments; otherwise Ash and Misty will be stuck in a never ending fight.

Contestshipping ( Drew and May ) : Drew has a very shallow personality; he likes May for her looks, but not for everything else. He sees May as ' eye-candy ', instead of a good coordinator. Drew uses his arrogance to attract May (example: flicking his hair, spewing insults at his contest opponents, including May); he gives her the illusion that he is great coordinator, and makes her think that she is lucky because he wants her.

Just about about everything ' kind ' Drew has done was and will be staged to deceive May, he is not doing it out of his heart; he is doing it for May's looks. Besides, Drew sometimes pushes May around by teasing her near tears and at other times, he acts nice by giving a rose to May.

Drew told Ash that he should not push his sceptile to train so hard, yet Drew shows his abusive side by not taking his own advice and by abusing his own absol (Episode: "Thinning the Hoard"). That is how he is not acting out of his heart. This is what I mean when I mention Drew's ' kind ' deed is staged.

Given the fact that Solidad has told May that Drew had feelings for May (Episode: "May, We Harley Drew'd Ya") , May has no reason to hide her feelings for Drew, if she has any. Clearly, May does not fear rejection because Drew's feelings has been revealed to her. As mentioned before, the journey through Johto provides plenty of opportunities for May to tell Drew of her feelings, once again, if she has any at all. If May emerges out of Johto without Drew as her boyfriend, then she does not have any feelings for him.
