Author has written 7 stories for Naruto, Blood And Chocolate, Misc. Books, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Silver Kiss. New favorite character of all time: V from V for Vendetta All I have experience with of V is the movie version as I have not yet read the graphic novel that V for Vendetta movie was based on, but I look forward for a more detailed look at the masked man who is one of the most complex and interesting characters I have ever encountered. Hugo Weaving brings V to life as I doubt any other actor could on the silver screen. With V, I never know what to expect; his wit intrigues me as well as makes me smile, his cause and determination make me want him to win, his methods dazzle and terrify me as to wonder just what kind of monster lurks beneath the sly grin of that Fawkes mask. And yet while he can seem like an assassin unleashed from the depths of hell, there are moments when you see someone who is truly human and that's what draws me to him most. Alan Moore's character helps us realize that not everything is as black and white as we may paint it to be, there are varying shades of gray. These shades make us truly question just how distinct is that line we've drawn between what we believe as good and evil. Are they always so clear or are there cases where those lines can blur or fade, the two become more difficult to distinguish as separate? You think you know the answer. I thought I did too. But my mind was changed as I watched this terrorist who killed without discretion when he judged those as doing evil things play the part of the hero. | |||||||
