The oddest thing happened the other day. I was driving home from work, thinking about a fanfic I'd read on this very site, when an idea for a story popped in my head. I played it out with the characters from the same "world" of the last fanfic I'd read, but felt that it needed a different venue. I listened to SquiZZ on XM, and let the story manifest into what I'm writing now.

So, for the first time since I joined this site, I will actually pen my very own fanfic (provided that I can get a couple of betas to help me out)!

My favorite 'ships:

Draco/Ginny (HP), Buffy/Spike and Buffy/Angelus (BtVS), Sylar/Claire and Sylar/Elle (Heroes), Jareth/Sarah (Labyrinth), Rikku/Gippal (FFX-2), Hook/Wendy (PP), Lisa/Jackson (Red Eye), Mina/Kunzite and Serena/Endymion (SM)... and basically anything involving a tragically handsome/charming/dangerous vampire/monster/villian. I don't like incestual pairings, so I was pissed when Sylar turned out to be Claire's uncle. Grrrrr... WTF? Could the writers for Heroes please stop tying all of the characters to the Petrelli bloodline? THANKS.

Can you tell I'm a sucker for the bad guys? And I chose such a straight-laced good guy! Hahaha... Because, honestly, I want them to be good, in the end. I'm like Jane Austen, in that way. I want the heroine to go through trials and tribulations, but end up with her heart's desire.
