Hey, I’m Clouds on Monday, and welcome to my profile! If you are reading this then you must have read at least one of my stories, and I thank you for that. My stories aren’t very popular, heh…

I’m a bit of a n00b regarding my fanfics, but I try my best! Honestly!

If you notice anything lumpy in any of my fics, please tell me. I don’t care how harsh it is, I will appreciate it. I always live by the term my Filipino family told me; “Praise makes you happy to stand on the same rock. Advice tells you to jump to a better one further away. Not taking the advice is like jumping off the rock and into the grass, where the snakes are.”

So please, praise is nice, but concrit compels me the most.

Story Status

Jak and Daxter: Murder by Numbers

Summary: The heroic duo has left the city walls of Haven City for a mission to the capital of a country beyond the wastelands. This city is called Albyra, where assassins roam. Jak is assigned to hunt down these assassins, before they assassinate him.

Pairings: None

Status: In Progress. Currently Revising.

Notes: Currently in a rewrite. I would like to thank Nos-Lowarn for her wonderful and insightful beta-ing… and her red pen of doom XD! Do check out her stories though, I’m very honoured that a wonderful writer like her has to momentary swoop down to my ellipses filled level to improve me, and to swat me with her red pen if I abuse the English language XD (I love you!)

Reflections of the Sky

Summary: Fame and fortune, is that what Finn had always wanted? When the Storm Hawks meet a celebrity, Finn comes up with a cunning plan. But will Finn get more than he had bargained for in his get rich quick scheme? Get ready for a bumpy, funny and chaotic ride!

Pairings: Friendship Finn/OC

Status: Completed, but lost. Discontinued.

Notes: This is my first complete fan fiction and it is approx 40,000 words long. Unfortunately this story was written on another laptop. Now, mind you, this laptop is an old IBM that was released in the mid 1990s. It is very old. It has crashed, the hard drive has literally burned out and I am unable to recover the chapters that I have not yet uploaded. I’m pretty sad about this, and I do not have the heart to rewrite it all again. Perhaps in the future I will revise and rewrite it. We’ll have to wait and see.

Return to the Underworld

Summary: Trapped and lost in this world, Ed is stripped of alchemy; or so he thought. From Crop Circles to the Pyramids of Giza, Ed travels to the ruins of the world for clues to get home. But he isn't alone, and a painful decision has to be made.

Pairings: Edward Elric/OC

Status: In Progress.

Notes: This is my first romance fan fiction, and I’m writing this for experience. I’m trying to push my skills with character relationship build ups, pace and influencing reader emotions. I’m trying to make the reader feel like they are falling in love, and not cringe at soppy or corny mush. If you’re feeling fuzzy, tell me, then I would know if I’m doing it right XD

Also, unintentionally this story is really testing my ability to manipulate the plot line. I’m trying to keep the reader on their toes, and not make the storyline too obvious so that people can keep guessing.

Ripple

Summary: The little island of Sundance has been terrorised by a raging monster. It could burn down a village in one night, and it can leave huge craters with one furious eruption of fire. But no one has ever seen it; not until a boy named Brendan stumbled upon it.

Pairings: None

Status: In Progress. Also revising the plot plan.

Notes: For this story I aim to create sadness. I’m going to have to really focus on friendship on this one, and then execute an effective emotional response from the reader. If the readers feel angry, upset and sad, then that’s good. However, the main challenge when I write this is to maintain a sense of hope throughout it. Even through bad times, I want to give the characters, and the readers, hope. This will be the first time I will use this device.

It was hard to find the right canon character, but eventually I chose Brendan for this. I’m not fond of the manga ‘Ruby’ version of him, as he doesn’t really fit the role in this fic. The game version of him as the pseudo rival Brendan Birch doesn’t exactly fit either, as he is shown to give up. So I had to modify my own version of him, and change him so that he will fit here. He includes the traits of the game and manga so that he can be recognisable to the fanbase. Actually, the Brendan I chose is supposed to be based on the main male protagonist of the R/S/E games, but he is a silent character, leaving room to make adjustments.

Sacrifice to Time

Summary: The price of being the Ultimate Life form is having immortality. Shadow lives on, while others succumb to the years. Hundreds of years have passed, and fate has finally given him a new reason to keep living.

Pairings: None

Status: In Progress. Earlier chapters are currently being revised.

Notes: I just wrote this for fun. I loved the Sonic franchise since I was young, and I love the addition of Shadow. He really does have loads of elements to him that you can just write about. I thought that the concept of Shadow meeting Silver and Blaze in the future sparked loads of great ideas. I’m also practicing horror and friendship with this. Though I’m kinda annoyed that I have to adjust my OC’s slightly, they just don’t seem to ‘replace’ the old canon characters enough so I have to keep on tweaking them. Shadow, Silver and Blaze are really hard to think up of OC’s that would keep them suitable company in this story.

20 Sept 10 - Hey guys. I wont be updating my fanfics much, which goes against what I have promised over a month ago, but I'MMA BIG GURL NOW! I'm moving to my own flat soon, and finding myself a job and I'm saving up as much money as I possibly can so I can buy myself a car. A lot to do. And fan fiction just isn't on my priority list at the moment. But once I'm settled in I will fulfil my promise and update as often as I used to, which was once every week or two. So time is against my fan fiction duty... for the meantime. So, once again, sorry guys.

03 July 10 - YES! Exams have finished. I will be posting updates within the next week. I am also incredibly excited for camping. OMG BEACH YAY!

24 Jun. 10 – I’m sorry that I haven’t updated my stories as much as I would have liked. But not to worry! I have my very LAST exam in one week, and after that I will have total freedom. I have gotten a couple of messages and reviews asking when I will update my fics, and I will update ALL (no rly I srs) my current fics within two weeks after my final exam. Those updates will be revised chapters and new chapters. You will see a big change to “Murder by Numbers” ;)

11 May 2010 - Okay, I've got my exams in exactly a month or so. My exams will finish in June-ish. That means that I would have to dedicate my spare time toward revision and going to the gym. Gotta bust some flub off mah bodeh! So that ultimately leaves me with less time for my fics. I might update them if you're lucky, but I can't guarantee I will. So, sorry guys. Fics are down. But I'll be back for you! You are not abandoned! Just check into my Twitter if you want to know any news about any fics at all.
