Hey, I'm Rachel. I've written since I was a little kid. For anyone younger who wants to work on their writing skills, I highly recommend you take AP English Language and Composition while you're in high school. I took the course last year and it really helped develop my writing style. You also learn how to write essays FAST. (:

I used to read a lot of Harry Potter fan fic. Now, I'm really into Twilight. I have a hard time finishing things-- my computer is full of half finished epic stories (think "the Odyssey," Harry Potter style). I'm working on finishing a few one shot ideas I have rolling around in my head for Twilight and The Host. Both are books by Stephenie Meyer I highly recommend. I've mostly been doing one shots, since I know I'll be too busy to finish anything longer through to the end. I also tend to write dark fics. Not much of what I write has a happy ending. I just can't come up with good happy endings.

I'm always adding favorite stories, I highly recommend things that are on that list. (:

I just finished Grief, a series of 5 one shots that took me way too long to finish, but I am so happy with how they turned out. If you would read and review I would really appreciate it. I just churned out Diving, a one-shot from my favorite under-represented character's (Esme!) perspective. It's about her human life and her reflecting on Bella's decision to "kill herself" in New Moon. Basically, it takes place in those few hours before Alice finds out that Edward is going to kill himself. It's kind of dark. I need to write something happy, I know. Reviews will be super appreciated on this! I'm really happy with how it turned out! (11/27/08)
