Aside: Okay, I get the fact that Twilight is constantly bashed. But honestly, I don't have a problem with the first book. It was an entertaining read, and everything was done right. I kinda lost interest with the final battle at the end, but I loved everything to that point. The rest of the books was a sore disappointment. I'd rather not have ever heard of the other three.

Vampires don't sparkle. Harry Potter is better. Harry has a lot of reasons to act emo, unlike Bella. Killing yourself isn't going to get you attention from a guy you like, It's going to get you dead. Remus could claw the shit out of Jacob. Bellatrix even wins in a 'Who's paler' contest with Isabella. Why make the decision to turn into a vampire and spend the rest of your immortal life with Edward, but hesitate about marriage? One is permanent, the other isn't. Get your priorities straight.
Can we move on now? ;D

Let me talk a little about the Harry Potter pairings. I really think that Harry is a better match for Hermione than Ron, and Hermione is better for Harry than Ginny. I really don’t know what to think of Ginny, though. It’s not like we have a lot of information on her. We know that she’s fiery, passionate, has long red silky hair and freckles, makes fun of people a lot, and has dated a ton of guys. I’m sorry to all of the HG fans out there, but I really don’t think that Ginny thinks of Harry as ‘Just Harry’. I really don’t think JK has given a good message to the kids, being her knight in shining armor eventually carries you off to live happily ever after. And don’t forget that Molly Weasley now has a trophy-son. And I’ve thought a little about Ginny running up and kissing Harry after the Quidditch match. I don’t want to think of her as a scarlet woman, but the evidence is piling up. The only person who I’ve seen in the seven books who has seen Harry for just Harry (who is alive) is Hermione.

And Ron. Until I read that scene with the Locket Horcrux’s destruction. It seems to me that he still thinks of Harry as ‘The Boy-Who-Lived’ and ‘The Chosen One’, is incredibly jealous (of course, we all knew that) and it sounds like he’s completely oblivious to the fact that Harry doesn’t want any of that and just wishes to be a regular bloke with a normal life and a normal girlfriend, which he explained to Ginny at the end of the book. I still don’t understand why Harry tried to find normalcy in a pure-blooded witch who was possessed when she was eleven.

Anyway, I’m getting off-track. Ron and Hermione—why? I’m not arguing with JK, they definitely liked each other, and they (possibly) would be dating (for only a little while, I had hoped), but…marriage? I said at the release of GoF, ‘If they start dating, I’ll give it a week. Two if Ron gets smarter.’ Never in my life would I have guessed them together for nineteen years! And once again, Ron tells Harry, nineteen years in the future, that he still doesn’t think Muggle technology is helpful, saying that he confunded the driving teacher. Twenty galleons tells you that he’s got a flying car.

Seriously, though. They argue constantly, (definitely not couple material) and I really don’t think that Ron likes her because of, well, real feelings. He protects her, but he protects all of his friends. He’s a hot-blooded jealous _ that always feels sorry for himself. Ron complains about not having money. So he can’t get a job? Ron silently complains about being second-best to Harry. I don’t see Hermione complaining. Ron’s jealous because thinks (and he’s probably right) that Hermione likes Harry, and Harry likes Hermione back (as more than friends). Does Ron really have to be that stupid? Harry Potter can choose any girl he wants. If he had chosen Hermione (which he should’ve), the only girl in the world, muggle and magical, who saw him as him, Ron should’ve let him. If Ron realized Harry’s past (in detail), I’m sure Ron would never complain about his life again. If Harry found happiness in Hermione, then Ron should let him. And besides, when looking for a girl, being best friends with Harry Potter doesn’t hurt your resume.

And the arguments! Oh my God, the Bloody Arguments! Have we ever seen a huge argument from Ron and Hermione? Thousands. Have we ever seen a huge argument between Harry and Hermione? Only two. The Firebolt incident in PoA, and the Prince’s Book in HBP. The Firebolt argument was led by Ron, who really should have no say in the matter. And it was a little bit of Harry and Hermione’s fault. Hermione didn’t know that that was the first present that he ever received over 10 galleons or pounds. Harry didn’t tell her, so that made it a little bit his fault. It was partly Hermione’s fault because she didn’t talk with him about it. It was Ron that threw it all out of proportion. The way Harry should have handled it is in the greatest fanfic I’ve read about Harry and Hermione in third year, ‘More Important Than Any Broomstick’.

Now, about the Potions book. Hermione was distancing himself for an entire year away from Harry because of a bloody book. Harry tried to explain how it isn’t really that bad of a book, but Hermione didn’t listen. May I remind you that this is the time that she started to pursue Ron, thus becoming narrow-minded and losing almost half her brain. If she was still Harry’s close friend like they always were, then she would have heard Harry out, probably looking at the book a few times herself. They probably would have grown closer over their time brewing potions. Another of my most favorite stories that I’ve read, the way Hermione should’ve acted, is ‘Trust’. Both fics are in my favorites section, as well as the authors, witowsmp and chem prof.

And, in case you didn't know, J.K. Rowling made Hermione distance herself from Harry for the simple reason that they were too close by the end of the fifth book. Apparently, Harry was always supposed to be with Ginny, and Hermione...you know what, I'm not finishing that sentence. Apparently, noone believes in just following your fingers when typing anymore. But back to the topic.

The average couple has about four major arguments a year. Harry and Hermione have argued (majorly) 2 times in seven years, and that is only because of outside interference (Ron, of course). Think about that.

I don’t know how people could think about two short-fused people belonging together. Like Ginny and Harry, in the scene where Harry tried to convince himself that he did not try to kill Mr. Weasley. Harry and Ginny yelled at each other for a bit, then Harry was reassured when he found out that he wasn’t supposed to remember or have any knowledge of it happening. Then people started thinking that Harry would get together with Ginny, because she calmed him down when no one else could. I know for a fact that a whole lot of HG fans and authors appeared around that time. Harry just needed to get reassured! Does that mean that they automatically get together because they both had a link to Voldemort? IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE!! You could call it a soul bond!

Seriously, that’s messed up. Really.

Okay, my next topic (or rant) is – you saw it coming – the names of Harry’s kids. (I’m not even going to acknowledge Ginny.) Their names were Albus Severus Potter, Lily Potter, and James Sirius Potter. Now, I could understand James and Lily, but they really must’ve hated…Albus at first sight. He must’ve either cried a lot and hit people or he was incredibly ugly. Let me start with his first name. Albus. Named after Harry’s headmaster. Named after the man who put Harry in the Dursleys. Named after the man who put Harry in danger at Hogwarts all six years he was there (How come Harry and Hermione have to solve everything every year while Albus just looks old and apologizes and Ron says ‘bloody hell, mate’ and go eat?). Named after the man who didn’t tell Harry what he needed to know the first year. Named after the man whose secrecy led to Sirius’s death. Named after the man who left Harry unprepared for Voldemort with his foreseen death. Also, I think Harry deserved to know why Dumbledore trusted Snape so much. Albus claimed that it was none of Harry’s business. Snape loved Harry’s mother. I think that Harry deserved to know before Dumbledore. This is just saying that Dumbledore has Harry on a leash beyond the grave. Sometimes I wonder if Hermione chose Ron because he’s smarter than Harry.

Severus… what the (expletive) was Harry thinking?! I mean, think of all that Snape did in his life. He liked Harry’s mum since he was eight, became rivals with Harry’s dad since the first train ride to Hogwarts, called Lily a mudblood, became a death Eater, and is the main reason Harry is an orphan. Let’s not forget that Snape told Voldemort to kill Harry and James and to give Lily to him. I don’t even want to know what he was planning.

And thus, he began to hate Harry Potter for living. When he saw a James Potter replica ten years later, he made sure that Harry’s life (and those around him) became a living hell. The only excuse for not AK-ing The Boy Who Lived was because of his green eyes. Pathetic, really. He couldn’t even look for another girl. He became an annoying and sulky… thing who bathes in hair grease. If Harry had known all of this before Snape died, he would’ve closed his eyes when Snape told Harry to look at him. That would’ve been funny. If anything, Snape should’ve been happy. He just glossed over the fact that he would’ve died on Halloween night if he was with Lily, as the prophecy would’ve still existed, and I don’t think he would’ve been a loyal Death Eater, but a member of the Order who defied Voldemort. Back to the kid’s name. Even Vernon Potter would’ve been a better name. If he really wanted to name a person after his manipulative Headmaster and his father’s worst enemy, then he could’ve at least thought of a better one. Dumbledore has five different names and Snape has three. What about Brian Prince Potter? I think Harry’s mind disappeared with the soul (that, or his dignity).

Hugo Weasley? – This is Ron we’re talking about, no further explanations needed. For those who say that it is a good name, that may be your opinion, but I’m disappointed that Hermione would approve of it.

Alright, I’m done. For now, at least. If I persuaded some readers to come over to the right ships so far, then I hope you will enjoy my fanfictions. If not, then please read it anyway, hopefully you’ll change your mind.

Now, onto my stories:

‘Time to Love; Time to Love’ is the only multi-chapter fic that would be possible in a Harry Potter book. The summer after Voldemort’s defeat, completely canon, minus the epilogue of bull_ _ _ _. Let me just say that I’ve never written anything over than a three-page report on World History (barely passed) and this is my first attempt at writing, er, typing a story. (Honest!) The plot is still in the making. (Yeah, I went through eleven chapters freestyle.) I basically started using this story for practice, then it started melding into a full-blown fanfiction. HHr, Ron and Molly bashing.

Another HHr fic that I have recently started is called ‘The Yule Ball—The Remake’. It’s a Romance with a little Humor in it. Do you remember the conscience that Harry had in HBP, when it argued with him about whether or not to get together with Ginny (because of Ron being her brother)? It sounded like his conscience was against it, if you ask me. What if the conscience spoke up before it was too late—Two years earlier, to be exact? Warning: Ron/Ginny/(Viktor?) bashing to the highest level. Mentions of a Harem, but will stay purely HHr. Possible sequel may come out of this.

‘It’s Good to Feel a Little Remorse’ is something that I thought of about a week ago. The summary is pretty good this time, so no more words are needed.

I have a one-shot called ‘Found Zoey’, taking place after ‘Chasing Zoey’, the last TV Movie and Episode of Zoey 101. It was the spur of the moment; it was finished and posted three hours after the world premiere ended. It’s a romance of Chase and Zoey. What was it, the last ten minutes when the C/Z romance finally showed up? I think I extended it by about…ten minutes.

‘The Deathly Hallows: Take Two’ – This is one of those ‘one thing different from what was supposed to happen can change the world’ fics. I am working on this story primarily. HHr, N/G. Sorry, but if there is any Ron bashing, it’s very limited.
[Edit - Okay, That was a lie. I bashed the hell out of Ron... er, sorry? Oh, wait, I'm not. I'd do it again. In fact, I think I will. *Gets to writing*]

‘HP One-Shots’ – Sometimes, I get bored, or stuck, with a story for a little while. Nothing is good on TV. The stories in my Favorites section and community hasn’t been updated. My friends had their fun while I was busy writing, and are too drunk to do anything right now. I have nothing to do. So this was born. This section is for anything random, any Parodies I might write, and anything that’s not long enough to be a decent one-shot. If there’s a pairing in the story, it’s usually either Harry/Hermione or H/Hr/L. Who knows, I might even make an appearance in the story. If you want to make a story out of one of my ideas, please feel free to, as long as you send a link to me of the story.

Pure Harmony, One-Shot Edition The pairing or Harry and Hermione, as you have by now probably guessed, is pretty high on my list of Fanfiction hobbies. And I have seen collections of other Fanfictions dedicated to the couple, like A Collection of Harmonious One-Shots by Seel'vor, The One-Shot Factory by mathisgranger, and Entertainment Issues by The Thirteenth Rose. I've decided to add my own stories to the wondrous collections, and I hope they inspire you enough to either continue them, or write one-shots of your own. I look forward to reading them.

C2 – Purely Harmony – Well, I guess the name says everything. For stories that are Harry/Hermione all the way through (good ones, too.). No other pairings for the two. The old kind of romance. Not the kind where they date around for a bit until they find that they’re right for each other. The ones where they realize it early. You know, such as... first (ever) relationships until the end, basically. Purely Harmony, not Slightly Tainted Harmony. There are very few exceptions. Nothing past pre-HBP allowed (unless they’re AU) because of Ron and Ginny’s interference with destiny. If you have a story that fits, please send the IDnumber of said story. I try to avoid the discontinued fanfictions and songfics. Cho doesn’t matter, since if it did count, the fan fictions would be very limited. ‘In the past’ fics vary, like ‘Quantum Leap’ or ‘The Time Meddlers’. I try to find fics at least 1-4 canon.
