Watch this space, my dears...

Hello all, ScroogeMcDuck here.

Well, not REALLY but you get the point. 'Tis my username because I love Scrooge McDuck.

I am hereby updating my bio, just because I can. Rawr.

My 'real' name is Cat (technically it's my nickname but almost everyone calls me that now, including teachers!) and I hail from the bonny wee land known as Scotland. I actually like haggis, thank you very much.

I am a huge fan of Charles Dickens and have read the following; A Christmas Carol, Oliver Twist, Great Expectations and The Old Curiosity Shop. I plan on reading Domeby & Son next, after I finish David Copperfield (and The Pickwick Papers...). Boz is my favourite author! :3 I wish to be an author someday myself, as well as a thespian (see third paragraph, this one being the first).

I also really like Shakespeare. I studied Romeo & Juliet in class this year, and next year I'll be studying Richard III. I have recently purchased copies of Romeo & Juliet and The Scottish Play so I can attempt memorizing monlouges and find cool quotes to insert randomly into conversation. I have been to see The Tempest and A Midsummer Night's Dream (x2) at theatres.

Judging from my previous paragraph, one can tell I am a theatrical fan. This is an understatment. =o I am an aspiring thespian (an actress in simpler terms) and have a very small and not that impressive resume to my name:

Catherine Of Aragon/One of Santa's Elves -- 'Captain A. Berk & The True Meaning of Christmas' (Primary School...=P)

Eunice, Head Hall Monitor--'Agatha Rex' (Last year, 2007)

Chorus/Ensemble--'Beauty & The Beast' (This year)

Whoot whoot!

I aspire to star in the following: 'A Christmas Carol', 'Oliver Twist', 'CATS: The Musical', 'Oliver!' and 'Romeo & Juliet' (not as Juliet, however! HA! I am not of the norm! =P). As I further my theatrical adventures, I will certainly have more to add to my 'I want to be in this play/musical' list. As for shows I have seen, the list could go on and on for quite a long time, so here's some of my favourites:

CATS: The Musical

A Christmas Carol

Oliver Twist

42nd Street

Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

Awake and Sing!

A Midsummer Night's Dream

And here are characters I wish to appear/star as in my theatrical career (and yes, I am female. Girls can play guy roles! I can do a pretty funky old guy voice...-shuts up and continues with the list-):

Ebenezer Scrooge- A Christmas Carol

Jacob Marley- A Christmas Carol/ Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol

Bogle- Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol

Nancy- Oliver Twist/ Oliver!

Mrs. Sowerberry- Oliver!

Fagin- Oliver Twist/Oliver!

Grizabella- CATS

Demeter- CATS

Electra- CATS

Jennyanydots- CATS

Benvolio- Romeo & Juliet

That's it for now...XD

Methinks I have rambled on quite a bit (as usual) and have gone into more detail than needed (as usual). I shall therefore finish up with the following statements.

I really enjoy writing fanfiction based on my all time faves: A Christmas Carol and CATS. I will try to break out of the norm with some original stories (see PPS) but for now I refuse to expand my mind!

Reviews are lovely, if you would be so kind as to leave some. =) Constructive critisism, critique, comments and compliments are all much appreciated!

For now though, toodle pip!

-ScroogeMcDuck

PS. Bah, humbug. =P

PPS. My next story is based on WWI and is written in the mixed styles of letters, third person narrative and a diary. Should be interesting and fun to write! Watch this space for updates!

PPPS. I like marshamllows. =o

PPPPS. My profile picture is, once again, me in CATS The Musical style makeup and wig. (: Because I'm funky like that.
