(Personal) Guidelines to Writing Fanfiction

2) Must have at least obsessed over said area at least once in lifetime (to learn about characters).

3) Must know most things about said arc from back to front.

4) Must know most of the characters and their personalities before attempting to write about them (to prevent OOCness).
Warning -- While I usually know the characters I am writing about (I hope), I have difficulty applying their personalities into my written works.

5) Must do research if unclear about certain things (etc. what happened) for clarity and accuracy of fic.

I might add more when I think of it, or change certain things here and there once in a while.

Revamp!!

Hello, people!! It is the middle of my holidays, so I'm taking the opportunity to update some things, and maybe shift some things around! You don't see this phenomenon occur very often, so keep your eyes peeled! Furthermore, the anniversary of the first day I joined FF.net has recently passed! I believe this account is now two years and four days old.

Anyway, I'm off to make those changes! Stay tuned!

Vibrant Spectrum~

Where to start? I like the animes Yugioh, Bleach, Death Note, Naruto and probably quite a few more, but I'm lazy to tell you about them now. For the time being, I will probably only write fanfics for Bleach and Death Note and maybe Naruto so if you came here looking for something else, hit the backspace button.

I accept requests for the animes Bleach, Death Note, and Naruto. Please note that I have not caught up to the latest episode of Naruto as I am waiting for the episodes to bulk up before I burn through them at one shot. And no, I don't read the manga.

I write to escape from the troubles of the world. I hope you know what I mean. I also started reading fanfiction for the same reason.

About me: No personal info here, but I will tell you that I'm lazy, messy, and a wannabe independent person. A perfect room-mate, don't you think? I prefer staying home than going out to a party, and... Actually, I probably rather stay at home than do anything else.I like rain, and although I've never actually seen snow, I like it. I'm a Christian, but hopefully this will not influence my fanfics too much. I'll elongate the list when I find out more about myself.

Hobbies: Writing, reading, other whatnots (eg. annoying people when I can).

Stories (in the order they were published)

Snowflakes(YGO, complete)- This was my first fic, and I promised to myself that I'd do my first fic for Yugioh, because it was the first anime I obsessed over. I figured I'd try something easy so out came a friendship fic!

Therapy(YGO, complete)- I have no idea where this one came from, but people seem to like it. Oh well.

Beneath the Christmas Tree(YGO, complete)- This one was requested. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't usually write romance fics unless requested. The idea? Umm... Christmas spirit? Love in the air (Bleh)? It was originally titled Mistletoe, then I realised that mistletoe had not even been mentioned once in the entire story, so it got changed. I've only gotten one review for this though...

Party of the Year (Bleach, complete)- My very first Bleach fic. People actually seem to like it! I'm actually getting reviews! Wow! Okay, the inspiration for the story can be found inside the first chapter of the fic, but if you check it out, please review.

Beneath the Ice (Bleach, complete)- I don't know why I wrote this. I suppose I wanted a taste of how to use a certain idea, so you can say it was sort of an experiment to see whether people like the idea. Please read this one and give me feedback on what you think of the idea, because I'm probably going to make more of these.

Upsurge of Power (Bleach, complete)- This was a challenge fic by Mad Mage Jack, who wanted to see some cannibalism. While my family generally disapproves of such topics, challenges are challenges, and if they aren't too extreme, I will take them head on. Beware of spoilers for the manga chapters Turn Back the Pendulum.

Ghostly Obsession (Bleach, complete)- This was another challenge fic which I submitted recently by Buni-san, who also beta'd it. It was a bit more challenging than Upsurge of Power, but still very fun to write.

Childhood Memoirs (Death Note, complete)- What inspired me to write this? Actually, I have no clue, but I'm starting to realise that I seem to enjoy re-creating pasts for any character. I wanted to write any Death Note fic, so I started this randomly and it became the childhoods of L and Light. I really had fun toying with this fic, and thanks to those who read and gave me your valuable feedback. Beware of spoilers for L's real name.

Deliver Us (Bleach, in progress)- I got the idea when I came across a song on Youtube. Yep, you guessed it. I re-discovered Deliver Us from Prince of Egypt. I though of using Hitsugaya for the main character because he's so popular, and because of his tan skin. It's supposed to be an action fic, but that depends on how the plot flows. Now working on Chapter 6.

Twisted Beauty (Bleach, complete)- This is a Halloween fic. When this was started, Deliver Us was only up to chapter 3. I had this idea for some time now, and I figured I might as well kill two birds with one stone by creating a Halloween story and shooting down one of the ideas in my head.

Sweet & Sour (Death Note, complete)- I was challenged by YaoiCookie for this and Lonesome. Thank you, YaoiCookie. It was your idea to begin with. I simply gave your thoughts words. To readers, please look at my comments for Lonesome. The same words apply to you as well.

Lonesome (Death Note, complete)- Like I said, this is a challenge fic, so the main idea goes again to YaoiCookie. To everyone who read this and/or Sweet & Sour, I want to say thanks. You have no idea how touched I was when I saw checked my inbox on the first day, and it's not easy to do that. I nearly cried with joy. Thank you so much, everyone.

Immortal (Bleach, complete)- Originally known as Immortal, before it was changed to Making Whole the Pieces of His Soul, before it was switched to what you see now. Yes, I had a hard time deciding on the name. This fic is my tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. It's a shame I only became interested after his death; you could say I'm a belated fan. Anyway, it's how Rukia deals with Kaien's funeral with the help of her captain, and it contains my message to all mourning Michael Jackson fans.

The Ninja Handbook (Naruto, in progress)- My first ever Naruto fanfic about the rules of the Shinobi and how they affect certain characters at certain points in their lives. Right now the rules are in random order, but once I'm done I plan to rearrange them to give the whole thing more flow. If there are any rules you want to see, as well as the character(s) involved, please send me a message or a review, and I'll get right to it.

Short & Sweet (Bleach, complete)- This fic was a random drabble about Hitsugaya and Hinamori. I felt the need to write this, not because I couldn't get the idea out of my head, but because writing chapter stories has affected my essays in school, making them shorter, so I needed to write something short so that I could write more in school. Do you get it? I think this fic is quite sweet, and just captures their relationship.

Just Another Day (Naruto, complete)- My second Naruto fic. I had the urge to write a Naruto one-shot, because The Ninja Handbook is a series of chapters, and I needed to complete something Naruto-related to feel a sense of accomplishment. Anyway, it's about Naruto and Iruka at Ichiraku, spending a typical day together. This piece is also meant to capture their relationship, just like Short & Sweet.

Titles are subject to change

Yama (Bleach)- THIS IS NOT THE REAL TITLE. I am just using this one as a temporary title as I can't think of a suitable one yet. The Captain-General, Yamamoto, falls fatally ill. Urahara finds a cure, so the ban on him has to be lifted so that he can cure him. However, he ends up harming instead of helping. It's supposed to be my first action fic (including sword-fights), but while I have a plot, I haven't even finished the first chapter yet.

Cracks in the Ground (YGO)- This one is completely random, and has no plot whatsoever (at least, I don't think there is a plot). I'm just going to let my imagination carry this one along.

Deliver Us (Bleach)- The first chapter of this is a songfic. I generally tend to avoid writing or reading songfics, but I'l make an exception in this case. The song is Deliver Us from Prince of Egypt. The main character is Hitsugaya. I have finished the first chapter and will post it up ASAP before I start on the second chapter. However, I do not know whether the second chapter should have a song yet or not.

Liberation (Death Note)- It's about how Watari saves L from loneliness. You'll see why it's called Liberation when I post it up. I think I'll have to edit it some more (as well s complete it, of course) before I post it up.

Future projects:

Bleach

I am already thinking of doing a companion fic, although I don't know if this is the right term for it, for POTY; it's what I'm going to make Byakuya do to pay Urahara back.

I also want to do one where maybe one or two Shinigami find out about their lives when they were alive. But the plot is still not very clear- I just thought I'd post it here first.

Captains have to attend a school before they can be qualified as a Captain, because they have to learn about history, battle tactics, ect.

Ichigo dies, meets Kaien and gets one heck of a shock. This will probably be quite fun. The idea came from a video on Youtube (don't ask).

Yugioh

For YGO, I was thinking maybe I'd do one where Joey had died, but Yugi thinks he's still alive. Inspiration came from a book titled Invisible. Unfortunately, I forgot who the author was.

For sure, I want to do one where the characters on both animes discover Fanfiction.net, and rant about it. That one should be fun.

I also want to do fics with people who are hard to write about, like Kaiba and Ulquiorra. But there's no guarantee for this.

After that, maybe at least one fic for every genre for Bleach and YGO. However, I don't know if I have enough time.

Regarding Death Note, I currently have no ideas for it. Sorry. Please feel free to give ideas, suggestions, challenges and requests.
