Greetings!

My name is Rose.

I am a real female.

I am also just barely old enough to remember the early 1970's . . . that is, if I had any memories of before 1982 due to what is now called PTSD. I am not a Veteran, though I support the troops and peoples' individualized choices for almost anything -- Do what you will as long as you don't harm yourself or others. I am also a Christian and a sinner. I am married to a man; and while it may not be the best, I am certainly not interested in any kind of untoward relationship, so, for heaven's sake and to avoid awkwardness, please don't ask. I am also a Mom.

I am not normal. Normal is BORING!

I read and write fanfiction voraciously; and my genres include but aren't limited to: Doctor Who, Psych!, Captain Planet, Star Trek (Deep Space: Nine), Ben 10: Ultimate alien, Starsky and Hutch, Transformers (mostly movie, but may foray into Prime), A-Team, and LOTS of others. I have now added Sherlock and Rise of the Guardians to that list.

I like to read and write slash, gen, or het particularly if they are well-written, well-paced, not too far out of character, and with at least a nod to proper grammar. In other words, I like fanfiction of all kinds.

I used to publish on here, but then they changed the rules, and a lot of my stuff was taken down because it was a bit . . . mature . . . for their new rules.

A/N: Oddly enough, a lot of what i find on here is a lot of what I wrote in the past.

I am a very prolific writer, but not a very fast updater. You are warned. :D

Oh yeah, I also want to warn you that I am a realist. While I am compassionate in nature and will be more than happy to listen should someone wish to talk. I will do what I have always done and give my true feelings on the matter based on my opinion and what I view as 'simple'' common sense, and I will tell you the truth as I see it. I am an interesting combination of pragmatism and sensitivity, and while I won't tell you point blank that what you are doing is, in my view, idiotic, it probably will be kind words to that effect.

I have been told that I am not tactful and that I am rude. Blame it on the Autism, Bi-Polar-ness, or even the ADHD if you want to, but seriously, what's the point of give answers that please people if pleasing a person is the wrong answer? So, keep that in mind when you ask me for my opinion. :D
