5/28/09 Script Frenzy is over and so is school and testing. So I will be actually updating now. Sorry again, guys! You're the best for being so patient! I'm also starting a new Bleach story; a WWI-esque Hueco Mundo. If you're an anime far, you should check it out.

4/19/09 Alright. Due to Script Frenzy, there will be no updates this month. I'll be updating in early May, and should have a steady stream of updates from them onward. Sorry for the delay, guys!

3/1/09 Well, I just uploaded the first two chappies of I Couldn't Refuse!, my first Psych fanfic. Also, I'll be uploading a new SGA one-shot this next week, so keep an eye out for that.

12/11/08 Well, today is my one-year anniversary for writing/posting on fanfic; I'm pretty happy with it! Oh, and by-the-by, the first draft of Psychic is finished!!

8/5/08 School's Out--For Now is on the shelf. I won't be updating for quite a while (blame the writer's section of my brain for this one.)

I have seven fanfics so far, two Maximum Ride ones, The Angel Experience and School's Out--For Now; two Power Rangers SPD ones, Dawn of the Personality-Challenged Power Rangers and Translator; two Twilight ones, Spring With the Cullens, and Summer With the Cullens; and a Stargate: Atlantis one, My Roommate Is a Wraith.

I write fan-fictions as practice for the books I'm trying to write at the moment. They are not very far yet, but I'm working on them every day. I like to go for plot and form. I like proper sentence structure and proper spelling (dead giveaways for an obsessive bookworm) and I also include alternate languages. I'm crazy for languages, so if it seems a little much, I apologize.

Contrary to my sometimes-serious style of writing, I actually have a wicked sense of humor. Along with being extremely sarcastic and the family and community pessimist. For three years running I've been voted by my classmates 'Most Likely to Run a Morgue,' which, for some reason, is always the career I end up with on TLC career tests.

My pen name: Holly comes from one of my favorite musicians, Holly Brook. Batali comes from Mario Batali, the genius Iron Chef and my second favorite culinary role model. My first is Alton Brown, just so you know. I like to write about outcasts, I don't really like to write about 'popular' people.

My dream career...hmm...I have a couple ideas for that: stunt man (woman, as it may be), race car driver, writer, librarian, historian, maybe a writer for Stargate.

My best friend helps me a lot with a lot of ideas for my writing, so thank you Emily.

I HATE Romeo and Juliet with every molecule of my cellular makeup, and I am a HUGE Civil War buff. Anyone need a detailed analysis of the Battle of Gettysburg?

Well, for one, I am an obsessive Gate Geek/Gater (however you want to put it)--I LOVE Stargate, especially Stargate Atlantis. I hope to write many more SGA fics than the one that I have, but I don't expect to churn them out like some authors do. I have seven fics, not seventy...some day...

Also, I am an avid cocoa addict. I drink 1-3 mugs of hot chocolate daily (well, average, anyway). My best friend Emily always says that if I ever gave up cocoa, I'd be a coffee addict. She's probably right.
