Author has written 6 stories for FreeSpace 2, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Gladiator, and StarTrek: The Next Generation. Hullo everybody, I am both conciously and subconciously useless at using the Internet so this will be short:- My fictional heroes/heroines are: Jean-Luc Picard, Maximus, John Murdoch (from Dark City), Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, Andy Dufresne, Edmund Blackadder, Kara Thrace or 'Starbuck' (Battlestar Galactica 2003), William Adama (likewise), Harold Abrahams (Chariots of Fire) and Tim & Daisy (Spaced). Some heroes who are actually real (as far as I am aware): Bill Bailey, Bob Woolmer (cricket coach), Andrew Strauss (England captain), Robert Harris (author - as in Ghost, Lustrum and Fatherland as opposed to the other Robert Harris), Some bloke called Shakespeare who everybody raves about, George Orwell, all of the lads that played cricket with me at RHUL from 2007-2008, Patrick Stewart (and not just because of the Picard link, read his life story - its not been easy for him), Ian McKellen, Margaret Attwood, Doris Lessing, Stephen Fry, Marcus Trescothick and Joe Simpson (author of Touching the Void - read it, read it now!)
