So, as some of you may have noticed, I've been gone for awhile. This may happen from here on out. I apologize for being here and there, but certain things in my life have changed to a degree where they can no longer be ignored. Yeah, it's part of growing up, I get that, but it's so much more than that. Take a general soap opera and combine all the problems of all the characters. That comes pretty close to the craziness that is my life. I'm not asking for pity; but understanding. I'm trying my best, but I'm hardly hanging on to real life. It started off as an unthinkable family drama and then everything crashed. My depression skyrocketed, and I hid it from my loved ones because I thought I could handle it (big mistake, by the way). Eventually, I broke down and had to get professional help via in-patient. Prior to going away, my grades dropped. I stopped doing work and fell drastically behind. By the end of semester one, I was still in the first lesson of geometry (I ended up dropping it). There has been so much more crazy, but I'm not going to bother you with that.

I'm hanging on; and even though it is somewhat reluctantly; I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.

With all this said, shall we move onto some basic info?

My name is Jessica. I've recently started spelling it with a 'k' because it's different. I'm 17. I'm a junior in high school. I live in the cheese state (happy cows do not come from California). I've got a mom and a dad and two brothers, who, half the time, I want to kill. My favorite color (this month) is light blue. I love TV, but not as much as I used to. Music is my drug; I seriously can't go a day without it. It makes me happy, plus, it's been the inspiration for the majority of my stories. My friends are my life. They have been so incredibly supportive throughout all my problems, and I can honestly say, they are the only reason why I am still alive. I'd kill or be killed for them without a moments hesitation. I am a strong believer of equality and coexistence. I don't care if you're black or white; gay or straight; male or female; democrat or republican; Christian, Jewish, or Athiest; everyone should have equal rights, and everyone should be happy. I am a junior in high school and I go to school online from home. (Do not say that I stay home so that I can slack off. My school really works us.) My best friend, vamp926. We met here (coming up on 3 years) and we have talked almost everyday since. What to say? I love my bestie and would do anything for her! She's my day and night!
