Hi. I’m a girl who likes quality fanfiction. At this time I have no plans to write my own, but that might change, who knows.

To see some of what I’ve found and really enjoyed, check out my favorites below. They're all works in progress; to see my favorite completed fics, have a look at the community I manage or click on my “homepage” link. It takes you to my delicious.com account, The_Virtual_Bookshelf. It's my most extensive list and is easy to search by fandom or type. I've enjoyed everything I have there, though if you'd like to see what I consider to be the best of the best, click on the awesome-short or awesome-long tag.

I have an online journal now, though it isn’t very active. I’m still getting used to the idea of talking about myself on the internet. Still, here it is: theodosia21.dreamwidth.org.

And for your further entertainment, may I present: the quotes section.

"Let's face it," she told herself, "how are you going to make the big heroic rescue in any case?"
On the other hand, she answered, it'll be expected of you. The races of the galaxy look toward mankind as the essential lunatic element. ~Strata, by Terry Pratchett

It wasn't a dark and stormy night. It should have been, but there's the weather for you. ~Good Omens, by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman

Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself. Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards. ~Aral Vorkosigan, A Civil Campaign, by Lois McMaster Bujold

When you can see the color of the feathers, you'll also understand how you can expand your borders to infinity. ~Miles and his invisible hat, 'Borders of Infinity', by Lois McMaster Bujold

Miles cursed himself silently, then out loud. He really had to try to cultivate a more normal attitude toward senior officers... When a normal ensign looked at his commander, he ought to see a god-like being, not a, a... future subordinate. ~The Vor Game, by Lois McMaster Bujold

Excellence, this kind of excellence, could never have any sane economic justification. It had to be done for the honor of one's country, or one's people, or the glory of God. For the joy of being human. ~Diplomatic Immunity, by Lois McMaster Bujold

Margaret: Someday I hope to marry you if I ever can find one shred of evidence that you’re not criminally insane.
Chinese: Feel free to plumb the depths. ~Metzger's Dog, by Thomas Perry

I’m not ready to declare war, destroy a major city, or take over a country, even if the CIA provides a foolproof recipe. I don’t need the additional responsibility of owning a country at this time. ~Chinese Gordon, Metzger's Dog, by Thomas Perry

A lawn is nature under totalitarian rule. ~Michael Pollan

A word is not a crystal, transparent and unchanged; it is the skin of a living thought and may vary greatly in color and content according to the circumstances and the time in which it is used. ~Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.
