Check. 4. Write novel. In-Progress. 5. Get published. 6. Sign your copy. Note: I LOVE crazy, long, or otherwise crack-filled reviews. Fanart makes me drool, too. Also, never fear about sending me an IM full of whatever your smoking (LOL, as in questions, confusions, or opinions). I answer them all to the best of my ability and I try to take critism fairly as long as it's not all one-sided hate. The only time I ignore questions is if they'll answer themselves within the next Chapter. I'm pretty laid back and I'll chat with anyone who wants to IM me, so feel free to and don't be shy about telling me what you wish to see in my stories. Prompts equal love. HEHEHE, sometimes I so feel like Levi when it comes to reviews. "Praise me more, Boss!" I'm such a review-whore. Okay, nutso time over. On to a serious bit of my profile. I'm writing fanfics in order to better myself as a writer. I've always dreamt of being published, but I truly don't have the confidence to send in anything. So, to build that confidence, I've used my favorite anime as a starting point to get used to writing for others. Flames and Family was my first full fanfic and I've taken a more adult approach in the sequel...which should realistically be several sequels if I broke them up like they should be. I use several things when I write: 1. Inspiration from other authors and the media around me. 2. Life experiences such as my happy/playful relationship with my husband, the birth of my son, my short stint in the military, and all the troubles and trials I went through growing up. Yadda yadda...everyone has a story, right? 3. Pure imagination. Sometimes sinister, sometimes playful, sometimes just screwed the hell up. 4. I write what I want to read. Again, Sometimes sinister, sometimes playful, sometimes just screwed the hell up. LOL I have strange tastes. I like taking a character and twisting him/her. I like pushing them to the edge, over the edge, and down the damn cliff. Then I like seeing how the heck I can bring them back if I go too far. See: Flames and Family II...Tsuna vs. Survival of Demon Writer. BWAHAHAHA...cough...cough...HAHAHAHAHAHA! 5. Ahem, this is the last thing I use to write: My fingers. No laughter, please. I'm not being sarcastic. When I'm in a really good run of writing, my fingers will literally do the writing for me. All I have to do is try to keep my brain out of their way. What's that saying...idle hands...? It's like when you get into a good book and you stop seeing the actual words and instead imagine the scene without consciously realizing it. Your eyes keep reading, but your mind sees it like a movie. Well, me and my fingers have a on-again-off-again relationship that's not much different. So, here's some kudo's to my hands. Note: My hands made me type number 5 while I was telling my son to go back to bed...scary... Anyway, hope you enjoy my work and thank you for all your reviews :) BTW, if you're checking this page because I reviewed one of your works then be happy! I don't review unless I truly and honestly enjoyed what I read OR it sucked so bad I couldn't let it pass. J/K! Thanks for reading~! | |||||||||||
