Author has written 7 stories for X-Men: The Movie, and Twilight. I am more an avid reader than writer of fanfiction, but I am continually trying to improve. I welcome criticism. I am married, and the profile picture you see is my loving, affectionate Chow-chow. I am really into science otherwise. (Ha! Understatement of this profile page.) If you need any confirmation of scientific or medical facts, I am your go to; if I don't know for sure, I have the resources to find out. As such, my stories aim to be relatively believable, such as to not require too much further suspension of disbelief than is already granted for each story's context. I am currently living in the Pacific Northwest, but have lived/ was born in the South. My writing includes local dialects when I feel that it adds to the story. I am in the equivalent of grade 19 now (that's right people, 19 years of school! And you thought 12 was bad - I still have at least 3 more to go), so I don't update as often as some people. I have been keeping up with my crossover "You're not alone: the Awakening of a Rogue." I have other stories, which I will update eventually, when my writer's block wears off. I'd litter my profile page with funny quotes and statements such as 'If you, then post this on your profile', but I find it too aggravating after reading so darn many! So, multiple people have asked me about resources to brief themselves on characters I use. I recommend the marvel database (eg http://marvel.com/universe/Rogue), the mutant high database (eg http://www.mutanthigh.com/rogue.html) and Wikipedia( eg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_(comics)). For the Twilight characters, I use the books, and only the books, for reference. Every character I have written so far is based on an actual marvel character - I'll be more explicit about who is who in my author notes from now on. Instead, I leave you with this, by Tool, called "Stinkfist". Arguably one of the greatest lullabies I've listened to. 'Something has to change. It's not enough. Finger deep within the borderline. I can help you change tired moments into pleasure. Knuckle deep inside the borderline. Something kinda sad about the way that things have come to be. Elbow deep inside the borderline. | |||||||||
