Well, what can I say about myself...

I enjoy reading fanfiction (sometimes more so than the series itself) but I'd always found it hard to keep track of favourites...and so this account was born.

My name, Susurrous, means "full of whispering sounds". I think it's a really beautiful word, and quite unique too. I first heard of it from Terry Pratchett's The Wee Free Men :D

I'm an aspiring writer, with a lot of ideas that spring randomly into my head, but I never have the time (or motivation) to write them into a story. So, after reading a lot great fanfiction, I decided to try and write a story (which is still in progress). School is quite busy (teachers are insane in giving us homework) so please bear with my slow updates. Also, I'm a mad anime and manga fan, and my favourite genre of shojo would probably be romantic comedy, although I like a couple of shonen series too. HOWEVER, I also like novels too, especially stories by Tamora Pierce, Erin Hunter, and others...

Sad to say, most of my fav songs come from anime, or from Japan at least. These include My Will (Dream), Grip! (Every Little Thing), Ano Natsu He - One Summer's Day (Joe Hisaishi), Ryuu no shounen - The Dragon Boy (Joe Hisaishi), Fukai Mori (Do As Infinity), and others...but i have to say my favourite anime for songs are Inuyasha and Spirited Away.

A random babble of nonsense

I first got addicted to fanfiction because of Velf's story "Courage of the Spirit" and its two sequels. Then, I got into Inuyasha, and currently, my favourite Inu fanfics would be: Vitreous by hateshi, Moving up in the World by KitKat07 and Dead Famous by Rozefire. Wow. Kudos to those with writing talent

Sonnet Lacewing's whole saga about Daine and Numair from The Immortals Quartet by Tamora Pierce is also really good.

I can only hope that I can do half as well as these people!! Please read and review my stuff as soon as I get it online!

I'm currently working on an Inuyasha fic, tentatively called, "Flowers and Dreams" about Sesshomaru and Rin. It is loosely based on the film "Sabrina" starring Audrey Hepburn. So, look forward to it!

As you can probably gather, I'm a Sess/Rin fan. I like Sesshomaru and Kagome, separately, but not as a couple...I mean, they hardly interact! She should go with Inu, while Kikyo should remain dead (I like Kikyo - she's just well, dead, and Inuyasha's alive, so he and she don't belong in the same world. She's dead DEAD anyway, in the manga). There's also Sess/Kagura, which I do support after reading the chapter in the manga where she dies cries so sad!

As well, Tamahome and Miaka fans from Fushigi Yugi would be mad when I say I like her with Nuriko...but I honestly do! Tama-chan is a good guy, but Nuriko is Miaka's best friend out of all the seishi, and well, just the hint that he was interested in her drove her wild. OH YEAH, and also, I believe that Genbu Kaiden is WAYYYYYY better than the original!! Takiko is a whole lot better than Miaka - and most ppl would agree with me I think.

I am also a Mac user, and AM PROUD OF IT!! Just to make my statement clear.

Story Ideas

Note: These are just IDEAS that pop randomly into my head - there's only a slight chance that they get made into a story

"Flowers and Dreams" - AU Meet Sesshomaru, the "world's only living heart donor"; Inuyasha, a good-hearted playboy; and Rin, the chaffeur's daughter who is swept up into this world of aristocrats after she returns from the USA all grown up and glamorous! When a romance between his brother and Rin threatens one of Sesshomaru's business deals, he takes matters into his own hands by courting the girl! Now, suddenly, Rin isn't sure where her affections lie - it seems like an old old love from long ago has been revived, and blossomed into something more. SessRin, InuKag, InuRin

"Onegai Doctor!" - AU After her parents' tragic ending, Rin has withdrawn into a shell of her former self, worrying her adoptive parents, sister, and friends to death. When Inuyasha suggests that his psychiatrist brother Sesshomaru might be able to help the teenage girl live again, everyone desperately hopes it will work. But what will happen when another illness saddles the young girl - that of a broken heart? SessRin, InuKag

"His and Her Circumstances" - When Rin and Inuyasha fall deadly ill and are whisked away by an unknown enemy, Sesshomaru sets out to rescue his love; but as he begins his journey, so does she, and as in any love story, circumstances bring them together on a united quest. At the end of the road though, who will Sesshomaru choose to be with? Rather, does he even have a choice? SessKag, SessRin, InuKag AN: YES i know i have displayed a...dislike to this couple, but ideas are ideas... but I don't support this pairing, so don't get any ideas that I'm some kind of hypocrite

"A Smile to Remember " - Why did Rin's smile prompt him to bring her back to life? Is there a hidden story behind that gap-toothed grin, a secret deeply buried in Sesshomaru's past? As the mind wanders back 500 years ago, what mysteries lie in Sesshomaru's past? Meanwhile, Inuyasha and friends discover a secret guardian that holds power over all things natural and supernatural - a power greater than Naraku's own. But the terrible price to awaken this guardian is the willing sacrifice of a human life... SessOC, SessRin, InuKag, MirSan

AND... this idea which is manifesting itself in my head but has yet to be put on paper:

"Unnamed" - The story of how Naraku was finally defeated - of course, is a whole lot more complicated that this, but that's the basic gist. oh yeah, and there's character death(s) is this, so be warned. but it's a happy ending...sort of. update I was thinking about it over the Victoria Day weekend, and I decided to merge this with one of the stories above... but I am super busy with school, so writing anything will have to wait till after exams.
