I live in New Orleans with my Significant Other, two dogs and a cat. I'm retired after 33 years of working for the State of Louisiana, but back working part-time for my old HR Department, which cuts in on my writing time.

Back in the house (finally) after Katrina. Unfortunately, the field mice from the vacant, wooded lot at the end of the street decided to move into the houses. Well, at least my cat Phredd is proving to be a great hunter. Now if I could only convince him that he doesn't have to bring me all his trophies! At least he brings them whole and not in "pieces parts," like my friend's cat brings his captives to her. Anyway, we think we figured out how they're getting in and Phredd has tagged their hiding places. (BTW, guess who Guy the cat is modeled after!) Katrina played havoc with my garden, so now that the FEMA trailer is off my front lawn, I'll have to do something. It looks uglier than ten mortal sins on a Good Friday! Woof!!

I'm still working on The Dragon and the Muggle and hope to be getting chapters up more regularly. Wish I'd get a little more feedback, though. If you have a chance, please read and review. Hope you all are enjoying the story.
