IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Alright, so I know that I haven't updated anything in FOREVER. I've honestly had a rough year, what with it being my nephew's first year of school (he's going to be in Kindergarten in August... and he just lost his first tooth! -swoon-). I've also been working on a couple of different ORIGINAL projects - as in my own books! And research is difficult, you have to look everywhere for the information you need, then you have to verify that it's correct - it's a huge undertaking. But I was determined to update my two most popular stories, Life's Better With An Uchiha On Top and The Elevator. However, fate intervened on Friday, July 6th, when my nephew and I were goofing around and, in an effort to block a high-powered kick, I foolishly threw my hand out and his foot connected with my thumb. It's broken. Fractured. Done. Finished. The fat lady is singing, my friends. I'm not sure yet whether it'll need surgery or not, but it's my RIGHT thumb and, being that my right hand is my dominant, this means that I can't do anything with it. I can't hold a pencil. Believe me when I say that this depresses the fuck out of me. I can still type, yes, but it takes a while and my computer time is limited as it is, so as far as updaing goes, it's looking grim. I read online that it could take THREE MONTHS or more to heal, depending on the severity, so that's that. I'm truly sorry that I've left you all hanging, but don't worry; I WILL UPDATE, EVEN IF IT TAKES ME FOREVER!!! Thanks for being so understanding.

Controversial Issues:
1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
