My name's Anne, I'm a 25-year-old gal who (when she isn't studying) likes writing, and reading stories. I am, as you can see by the little flag, Danish so if I make any mistakes feel free to correct me. My avatar is a cape dwarf chameleon, those aren't my favourite animals, the reason I have one is that I'm a dæmian aka. a person who actively talks to 'the little voice in their head', giving it a name, shape and personality. Those voices are named dæmons after the animal-shaped companions in Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. But unlike the fictious dæmons ours are in-corporeal and will remain so. Mine is called Samo and is, as you might have guessed, a cape dwarf. I'm a liberal Christian, let's make a deal: I won't try to convert you if you promise you won't try to convert me! I'm a firm supporter of the LGBTQ community, having friends who embodies each of those letters. I'm also a royalist, being very proud about living in a country where the royal family are, as far as possible, acting like an ordinary family. I love the Eurovision Song Contest (which is where I got most of the weird language songs on my play list from) and I'm a rather big fan of cycling. If possible I will do whatever I can to watch a race/stage. My favourite sport is cycling, I basically either like a rider, or don't know enough about them to even care. My interest has in relative short time went from relaxing to emotionally involved. Found out about that after the Giro d'Italia last year. (WW108) Languages I speak: Danish, obviously. I was born in Denmark to Danish parents so not speaking Danish would be kind of weird, doncha think? English, again I'd say rather obviously. I speak English as fluently as humanly possible when you only started having it taught when you were 10 and only really started getting the hang of it when you were 14. German, sortaish. I have a rather limited German vocabulary, though I was still able to take home a D for my B-level exams. (I needed German on B-level in order to study English, makes sense, right?) Languages I (mostly) understand: Norwegian, it's so close to Danish. Swedish, bit more difficult than Norwegian, though. Dutch, if I strain my ears it sounds like an odd mixture of German, English and Danish.
