Author has written 7 stories for Twilight.

I live in Dallas, Texas right now and am working for a group of radiologists in their business office helping to run their outside reads program. Its not my dream job, but its good enough for now.

My job gives me lots of down time at work, since how busy I am depends on how busy the imaging sites are. I have been getting a lot of writing on my fanfics done in this time, and come home and have more free time than I did with kitchen manager job prior to this one. Its kinda night and day. Before, I was working 50-60 hours for less pay than I get now, stressed out and miserable. Now, I am much happier, which leads to more productivity in my writing.

I love to read when I get the time, and get through books pretty quickly. I love horrors (Bentley Little is my favorite), as well as fantasy (Harry Potter, Twilight, etc), and murder mysteries (Kathy Reichs is a great author for these). Right now I am on a teen genre kick, mostly for the fantasy aspect, but Jodi Picoult is by far my favorite author. I highly recommend all of her books, though 19 Minutes absolutely took my breath away. So much so that I started a Twilight fanfic based on it. Salem Falls, Perfect Match and Second Glance are also at the top of my list for her books.

I write fanfic because one, I enjoy it. It is a good get away from other things and given the overall response I have gotten on most of my stories, it is definitely an ego boost for me. Also, I want to be a novelist and this is a great way to practice for that. I finally have enough trust in my abilities as a writer as well as a solid idea for an original work. I plan to start on that this summer, and hope to crank it out and be in the process of trying to get published by next summer. That's my goal, and I will probably put updates on her for my readers that have bugged me about going professional.

That is pretty much it about me that I can really think of. My biggest (relevant) pet peeve is flamers... One, if you don't like the story why are you reading it all the way through? Stop reading and move on to something else. Second, why tell an author how you think it should have been done? If you think you can do better, then go for it. With all the writers on here I have betaed for and talked to, we all agree... flaming serves no point but to make the author not want to write and puts them in a corner. They either have to try to brush it off and take the flame lying down, or if they try to respond it only upsets the reader even more. Its really rather pointless, but that's just my opinion... Constructive criticism, bring it on. Have a good argument for it, don't just point out things you think are flaws... that borders on flaming to me... but things to really help a writer improve is truly awesome.

I think that is it now. =)
