I view myself as a decent author of one shots. I am also great at creating a detailed outline for long novel length fics. The problem is that I can not write quality novel length fics because I can never get passed writing about the small details (i.e. I once planned out how an entire first year of transfiguration lessons would go if Harry had it three times a week from Monday, September 2, 1991 through the last week of May -- Yes, I know that is almost as sad as when I planned out how potion lessons for potions class could go... )
