Author has written 4 stories for Samurai Champloo, Final Fantasy XII, and Bleach.

We called him Tortoise because he taught us.
The Mock Turtle

Nothing particular to say for myself aside from the typical reasoning as to why I am on this site:
I enjoy writing, predominantly about characters whose history, appearance and consequent
characterisation can be manipulated by yours truly. We call them the supporting cast, who
seemingly can always be found for entertainment and angst. In terms of writing I am not a fan
of first person (though naturally, when a unique demonstration of it is shown I have no complaints),
and tend to vary my own pieces between present and past tense. Sometimes, the two come crashing
down in a cluser-duck of (yes, it says duck) one individual composition.

Big fan of anime and manga, most notably the classics: Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, DBZ and of course,
newer features like Samurai Champloo, Ouran, Vampire Knight, Peacemaker Kurogane, Bleach and
Black Butler.
I could go on for days about the episodes of Death Note to the drawing style of Dogs but
really, I’ll let my fiction do the talking. Quickly you will establish the pairings I am into, the personality
traits I may or may not emphasise and what have you. While also a big fan of the Square Enix franchise,
I haven’t found it within myself to write too many fictions around their characters. Personally, I’ve always
found the endings to be fitted with closure, and the exploration of favourite individuals included.
Nonetheless, I never say never to a good story regarding Balthier Bunansa and Fran: hell no, there
are still issues to be raised when those two are concerned.

Blood and Water: Already a Final Fantasy XII exploration. After joining a forum entirely dedicated to
the study of the series’ characters, I found myself leaning towards a possible (and hopefully plausible)
discovery of Balthier’s heritage. For those of you who have played the game, this won’t be a spoiler:
being the prodigal son of Cid, I wanted there to be a study of the family. It was said Balthier was the
youngest of two (two brothers, squawked the latest development) and so I based a thesis on the
hardship of growing up as an aristocratic Arcadian.
Status: complete.

Karma’s Eavesdropping: A comedy, my dear fellow. Not to be taken seriously; it’s all just fun and games.
When Balthier overhears some dodgy business behind closed doors, (had to be Vaan, of course) he takes
it upon himself to end this tom-foolery and get to the bottom of their mischief. Resulting in some delicate
details which should have been kept in the dark, perhaps it would have been simpler for the sky-pirate
to let boys be boys.
Status: complete.

Pendulous: Because Turn Back the Pendulum from Bleach was totally epic, and the news of the Royal Guard
was jizz worthy, my brain was flooded by the mere mention of the illusive, Kirio Hikifune, the previous
leader of the Twelfth Division. Alongside Urahara Kisuke and Yoruichi Shihōin (among many other familiar faces)
this sort one-shot documents the few weeks leading up to her promotion to the King’s Realm, significantly
dealing with the results of professionalism intertwining with personal feelings.
Status: complete.

Cruelty and the Beast: Still going strong, this composition based on the ending of Samurai Champloo is a
combination of my desire to see MuuFuu in action, coupled with an idea that was breathed into me after the
series’ close. Implementing an OC (yeah, boo-hoo) to catalyse new events which may tear the two travellers
apart, Mugen and Fuu are tested by their resolve, and Mugen’s awkward past. Since both Fuu and Jin had their
histories documented, (while Mugen had a beautiful two episodes showing his origins) I wanted there to be
more meat to the bone with such a complex antihero. This was the result.
Status: on-going.
