A Little Bit About Me

I'm an artist. I make pretty pictures and explore possibilities of stories untold. I want to help children believe in the impossible and for adults to remember what that's like. I work in the film industry and love everything about it. I also illustrate children's books and YA covers. It's the best job in the world.

My Favorite Books

Harry Potter, which will always be number one for me. I have a love for classic literature, with favorites including A Farewell to Arms, Lolita, Slaughter-House Five and The Picture of Dorian Gray. I also have an affinity for YA fiction, with recent favorites including Divergent, Daughter of Smoke and Bone and The Night Circus. I dabble reading fantasy and sci-fi, as well as indulging in graphic novels. Some of my favorites include Blankets, Black Hole, Arkham Asylum, Batman: Year One, and Cages.
