Favorite Characters: Sirius (As I may have already mentioned), Remus, James, Lily, (I'm warming to Severus, when he was in school anyway), Bellatrix, Minerva McGonagall, and Luna. She is probably the only HP era character I like, to be honest. I much prefer the Marauder era characters (As is obvious).

Ships: Remus/Tonks. It took me a bit of time to get used to it, but now I support it. Anyone who can make Remus as happy as he was when Teddy was born is in my good books. James/Lily. I guess that one's a tad obvious, seeing as that was the pairing before all other pairings (besides perhaps Vernon/Petunia. But honestly - how people do you see writing that?). I do not, however, like James with anyone else. Though I don't necessarily think that he was in love since the sorting or anything, I don't see him as permanently with someone other than Lily. Sirius/Remus. I don't consider this canon - and was very opposed to it originally - but now I've warmed to it as an AU pairing. If I ever write one, it will say AU on it. In my own personal interpretation of canon, Teddy is proof that this pairing is definitely AU. It's the only slash pairing I support, actually. Severus/Lily. I don't think that there's a doubt that this is canon, but (to me) this follows the same rules as Remus/Lily: A little and dead when her prince comes. Voldemort/Bellatrix. Whether Voldemort on the boat or not, Bellatrix certainly supports this (Grin). Remus/Lily. I kinda have an obsession about Remus pairings (and Lily pairings, it seems), which is something I just noticed as I looked back at what I've just written. I think that Remus/Lily (for a short time) (when they were in school) (before James and Lily realized that they were in love) could work. Or be canon. Or both. So some of that might appear (a little).

Characters that I can't stand: Draco, Harry, Ron, Hermione , Rita Skeeter, Petunia Dursley, and Fenrir Greyback. Well, the last one isn't completely true. I think he's a wonderful character, and like to write and read fictions with him in it, but honestly - he gives me the creeps. Oh -and OCs. An OC that takes up most of the story drives me completely bonkers. In my opinion, OCs can have bit parts, but not the spotlight. And don't even get me started on Fifth Marauder fics...

Ships that I can't stand: Draco/Harry. With the exception of Sirius/Remus, I don't really like slash pairings in general. And when it involves two characters I can't stand - (Shudder) Apologies to those who write HPDM, but personally I don't like it (Plus it isn't remotely canon). Sirius/James. (They're friends. Good friends. SBJP - Hello?? Lily?? Harry??) Let me say something up front - I can't see Sirius with anyone in canon. I can handle SBRL AU, but Sirius slashing anyone else just doesn't work for me, personally. So this also counts out Sirius/Severus, Sirius/Lucius, Sirius/Filch (Oh - scared myself there) - whatever has been thought up. This also goes for Sirius/Lily, even though it isn't slash. Lily's got enough going on as it is, and they do not seem like each other's type at all. Hermione/Draco. Again - not remotely canon, and - Sorry, Dramione fans out there - but I can only see Draco with Pansy. I don't have any idea where Astoria Greengrass sprouted herself from (pun completely unintended) but he's with Pansy. Or some obnoxious OC. Not Hermione (Who's with Ron, or at least Harry) and not Harry (Who's with Ginny, or at least Hermione).

Anything else? I'm sure there is. Oh well. I have to be off to school now, so I hope that I haven't offended anyone too badly. (Winces, ducking tomatoes) Sorry! To quote slash summaries, "Don't like, don't read." We're all entitled to our own opinion, which I hope I said somewhere in that brambly mess. So if I disagree with you - no sweat. I'm openminded to new opinions.

Also, I am not British (though I wish I was - you lot have no idea). I'm just a Yankee trying to write about your country because I love it so much. I'll be in England someday, I promise you that. For now, though, forgive my American spellings. I try.
