I'm twenty, graduated, and currently job-hunting. I have three sisters and a large extended family. I live in the small university town of Moscow, Idaho, reputed to be the only liberal town in the state. Lol. I have black hair that tends to form annoying loose ringlets that knot up and make brushing my hair Hell. My eyes suck- I'd never seen the stars before I got my glasses, which are small with a pink metal frame.

I voted for Barack Obama. It was my first time voting! W00T! Anyway...

My cat's name is Houdini. She is not very smart, but quite sweet, to the point where she keeps me up when I'm trying to sleep because she wants lovies... and I just have to oblige her. She likes it when I pet her tummy... lol.

Though I was born and now live in Moscow, Idaho, I didn't always. I lived in Sequim, Washington for the majority of my childhood.

Sequim is a little backwater town on the Olympic Peninsula, west of Seattle. I have to this day never seen another place so... gray. I've heard that in recent years, the town has become one big strip mall, which suits it. It didn't have character before and it doesn't now.

However, there was one excellant thing about Sequim, and that was its location. We lived fifteen miles from the Olympic National Park and thirty minutes from the beach, though it took much longer to get to the actual coast, which was my favorite place. But that is Sequim's sole redeeming feature. Lol...

I am a video game addict. I'm best at 3rd person action adventures- the Zelda series springs instantly to mind- but I have played almost every genre: RPGs (the Tales series pwns Final Fantasy), Shooters, etc... even Tetris and We Love Katamari... so I'm quite a diverse player, and I'm rather good.

I am also a fervent reader. Fantasy is my favorite genre, but I'll try bits of everything. RA Salvatore, Garth Nix, Kristen Britain, JK Rowling, and of course, JRR Tolkien, are all on my bookshelf. But I think that my favorite book is Alan Paton's 'Cry, the Beloved Country.' I finished that book for the first time and curled up and cried and cried... It is so beautiful.
I'm currently reading The Complete Sherlock Holmes. Which is awesome.

I am also a fair writer, but I tend to rush things in my stories and I put in... a lot of dialogue. I'm also a nasty critic of my own work, so I don't like sharing it often. Mostly, I write fanfiction, but on occasion I do write original pieces. But no one wants to read them... sigh...

Ehm... I'm fond of school, actually, and I kind of miss some of my classes. Especially English with Crag Hill. He must be the greatest teacher I've ever had. A truly marvelous person. I also like drawing, but I can't do anything even remotely realistic. I took choir in my last year of High School and discovered with some shock that my voice was not as unpleasant as I'd thought. I wish I'd taken it in earlier years... but I was too self-conscious. History is cool, but I never got A's after 8th grade because I never do current events, ever. I even keep up on the news, and I still never did them. I hate PE, and I have rather bad associations with math class, but I enjoyed Economics very much, particularly an international trade simulation we did.

Ah, music is very important to me. I could name fifty bands here and not get a tenth of the way through my 'favorite band' list, so let's just go with a few...
Toad the Wet Sprocket: Unbelievable stuff. I was so crushed when I found out they'd broken up.
Counting Crows: Their first album is lovely, but I like all of their stuff.
Semisonic: Their first album is the only album truly worth buying, but you get some of the best music from the '90s in it.
Modest Mouse: There is no other band like them. I like all of their songs. But they took some getting used to, an acquired taste... like... feta cheese? But I don't like feta cheese...
The Decemberists: Same case with MM, though their music is so different it's incomparable.
Sister Hazel: Anyone who grew up in the early 90's should know the song, 'All For You.'
REM: A band whose music will never grow old.
Matchbox Twenty: Sappy lyrics most of the time, but the vocals are so great that it doesn't even matter.
Er... I also like Enya, Bach, Train, Vivaldi, Live, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Vertical Horizon, Phish, System of a Down, Disturbed, Better Than Ezra, The Cranberries, Dido, Alanis Morissette, Our Lady Peace, Flight of the Conchords, and The Bloodhound Gang. That's all I'm listing...
I like most rock, folk, some jazz and blues, Baroque Classical (Most modern stuff sucks), a tiny bit of country and rap (VERY tiny), a tiny bit of pop (Spears should burn in Hell for keeping those poor babies of hers), and some techno- GOOD techno. No disco. Ugh... disco...

I want to learn other languages, particularly Latin, Japanese, and German. Spanish would be good, too, but if you know Latin and English, you know a ton of Spanish already...

My favorite 'superhero' is Batman... or the Tick.

Television programs: I like The Tick, Rocko's Modern Life, Invader Zim, Spongebob, Ren and Stimpy, Bump in the Night, Gargoyles, and several other cartoons... also, most adult PBS programs, etc...

Movies: Dogma, Labryinth, 300, Pirates of the Caribean, Cry, the Beloved Country, Everything is Illuminated, Pan's Labryinth, Star Wars, Seven, Behind Enemy Lines, Black Hawk Down, etc...

I'm toying with the idea of writing an autobiography under the guise of a fiction book... meh, I don't remember everything like it was, so it would be fiction... but only after I've gone to college, I think. I need to improve my vocabulary and polish my writing skills first.

I'm a big anime fan, my favorite series being Death Note. Just for reference since I do fanfiction, my favorite character in Death Note is L and my least favorite character is Misa. My favorite characters in Naruto are Gaara, Naruto, and Sai, and my least favorite character is Sasuke.

Aside from those, I read the Kenshin manga, Full Metal Alchemist, some Fruits Basket, Liar Game, Yakitate!! Japan, Junjou Romantica, Renai Junkie, and a few others. I also watched an adorable anime called 'Princess Tutu' with my little sister. Surprisingly, it was very good.
I used to watch Pokemon, Digimon, and Card Captors when I was a kid.

Oh, and I'm a yaoi fangirl, just so you know. Lol. NarutoxGaara and LxLight are my favorite pairings. So, those are probably the pairings you'll see me write about the most. I like many pairings... but I'll spare you the list.

I'm horrible at updating, I am overly critical about my own pieces, and I get writer's block a lot, so bear with me.

Pieces I've written/am writing/thinking of writing:

Naruto:

The Naruto Musical- completed. Complete and utter crack. I co-authored it before the chapter in which Orochimaru died was released (can't remember exactly when...) during the Summer after I first got into Naruto. It is utterly insane, is over 100 pages, 11 of which are smut. Primary pairings are KakashixIruka, GaaraxLee, and OrochimaruxJiraiya. There are a bunch of other pairings, OoCness, character deaths, and lots of... singing. It's really, really weird, but utterly hilarious, so if anyone wants to read it, I'll upload it.

Sa Skura Sabulum- On hiatus/may never be finished. A GaaraxLee fic I started but will probably never complete. Involves the discovery of ancient powers sleeping in the desert. Gaara finds his homeland under seige by those who want to covet those powers, and to top it all off, someone is out to get Lee. This needs major revising before I can post it...

Butaiosaru- On hiatus. I really love this one. A SasorixDeidara fic. Sasori is dead, and Deidara has lost the one anchor of constancy in his life. How will the artist cope without his beloved antithesis? The answer is simple; he won't. Very dark, angsty, focusing on Deidara's increasing instability and the doomed love he and Sasori shared. Probably needs some editing, but I'll do that later.

Fly From Heaven- Ongoing. I'm slavering over this one, because it's just... something I've wanted to write for a very long time. A NarutoxGaara fic. The first bit takes place during the series, the rest after the end. Many people perished before the Akatsuki were finally defeated. Konohagakure was left in ruins, at the mercy of the other four nations, and the death of his brother may lead to the downfall of Konohagakure's newest leader, unless someone sees him through. But it may take a miracle to save Uzumaki Naruto, and Sabaku no Gaara doesn't think he can coax Uchiha Sasuke back from the dead.

Something to Say- On hiatus until Fly From Heaven is completed. I started this fic with the intention of portraying the potential dynamics that could develop between Gaara, Naruto, and Sai, and particularly because I think that Gaara and Sai are interesting and challenging characters to write about, and that their possible intereactions hold too much promise. However, I got writer's block, and then I thought of starting a prequel. The prequel is Fly From Heaven. Anyway, this is a NarutoxGaara, one-sided SaixNaruto, semi GaaraxSai fic. And both the first chapter- which is completed- and the second chapter- which is not- have smut in them. Yay for smut. Contains a Sai with emotions! I suggest waiting until Fly From Heaven is finished before reading this, though, because there may be spoilers... but I will post it anyway.

Other:

Death Note- Quoth the Raven- On hiatus until Fly From Heaven is completed. Pairing is LxLight. What if circumstances had turned the way they should have...? What if Rem had perished in Higuchi's car, trying to kill for Amane Misa's sake? What if L, without being distracted by the shinigami's presence, kept the Death Note from the others? Requires revision before posting.

Tales of Symphonia- Wings of Blood- On hiatus/may never be finished even though I love it. The tale of the Heroes of the Kharlan War... their journey of hope and friendship... and its tragic outcome... Pairings include YuanxMartel, perhaps KratosxYuan near the end of the fic, KratosxAnna, and perhaps some form of a pairing involving Mithos. The entire story needs to be revised and greatly expanded, so I won't post it right now.

Castlevania- Lament of Innocence- Untitled- On hiatus. LeonxSarah, MatthiasxElisabetha, eventual JoachimxLeon. Portrays the entire game, dungeons and all, with a few alterations for the sake of sparing tedium and pumping up the plot. And goes beyond the game, to what happens after. Horrible summary, but that's what it is. This story also needs serious revising before I can post it without bashing my head in.

Also, I want to write a NaomixL fic at some point.
