Greetings, visitor!

I am ever so pleased to know that you have deemed me worthy of having your supreme personage visit my profile. You have managed to stumble upon the profile of none other than the great Coriandergirl (or rather, the not-SO-great, rather more average Maria). If you do not mind, I would like to introduce myself. I am a scholarly young maiden who enjoys spending her time reading of fictional worlds where such whimsicalities as magic and time travel and the like exist. Occasionally, I may humbly offer up a working of my own to the general populace for their criticism. I like to think of myself as one who does what I do for the general betterment of the imaginations of all. It is my dearest hope that you enjoy what I have to offer. Have a pleasant day..

White-chocolate macadamia cookies to all of you who read all the way through that obnoxiously chipper paragraph. Now, on to the real me.

I am of the female persuasion, aged between infant and over the hill (cough-nineteen-cough, cough). My favorite books are too numerous to list, including: Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, The Hunger Games, Wheel of Time, A Song of Fire and Ice, The Inheritance Cycle, A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Theif Lord, The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Enchantress from the Stars, Five Children and It, Abarat, Cry of the Icemark, anything by Robin McKinley, Tamora Pierce, Holly Black, Madeline L'Engle, Haddix, Shusterman, Neil Gaiman, Garth Nix, Gail Carson Levine, the list goes on and on.

I am a firm believer that Star Wars rules the Earth, and that somewhere out there, there is a shriveled little green man named Yoda.

Best TV shows in the world: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Once Upon a Time, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Star Trek, Scrubs, Glee, CSI, The Incredible Hulk.

I love reading both Superhero comics and manga -- so please hit me with any suggestions. And if you want a suggestion, read The Sandman, by Neil Gaiman. Its aMAZing!!

Mostly, I read Harry Potter fics, though I am working at expanding my horizons. If you want to read a good story, look through my favorite stories and authors. They are (mostly) much better than me.

My favorite Potterverse couples are

Hermione/Severus

Hermione/Draco

Draco/Ginny

Albus/Minerva

Ron/Luna

Tonks/Remus
