I enjoy reading and writing Angel/Buffy, JLA and Batman fic. I started committing my ideas to paper in December of 2007 and I just couldn't stop posting once I did! Thank you everyone who has reviewed my rantings, I really love reading the ideas and comments I receive.
There is a pretty big arc, I think, with the four part series starting with They Did Not Fade Away. It doesn't seem as large and sweeping as I would like, mostly due to the fact that I have the self control of a grub worm and I posted the entire first story in a week. Oh well. There will only be four parts, Life As We Know It will be the last installment. Don't fret, there will be a few one shots having to do with that story line. I got great feedback with Not For The Weak, so I think I will do, as suggested, a few one shots of Wes/Fred and Will/Dawn. Good suggestions.
I want to try and tackle a Batman/JLA fic, please don't judge it too harshly when it comes out! Those fans make me nervous. I am a die hard Batman comics geek, but the fans are brutal! I fear hate mail if I screw it up! Anyway, I'm going to give it a shot.
Any requests or ideas, I would certainly love to hear therm. I think fans should have a chance to direct the writers of TV shows, so why not for fanfiction? Seriously, send me some challenges. If my life isn't spiraling out of control, I'll try to respond to them.
Turn Ons: OC character pairings for Batman; I can appreciate a good BMWW shipper anytime, but I like different stories sometimes. Angst; all characters are built through incredible tribulations and tragedies, the more angst, the better. Happy endings; after the angst, there should be smiles. Well written love scenes; there are some really great ones out there.
Turn Offs: People that don't finish their fan fictions; buckle down and get it done! Even if you have to kill them off, at least finish it! Slash...I tried, I really did, I just can't hack it. Completely out of character characterizations; I love growing and maturing a character, but I have read some pretty out there stuff...what do they call it? Mary Sues? Yeah, I think people should be careful with those. Pornographic love scenes; I love porn as much as the next person, really, but it isn't always cool in fiction.
Anyway...as if you care about my turn ons and offs! Tell me about yours! Seriously, tell me about the stories you want to read. I started writing because I couldn't find the story I was looking for. I figured, why not create it if I can't find it? What can't you find?
