In case someone is actually interested and is reading this, here goes: About my fics: I am a firm believer in the idea that you need to be thoroughly immersed in the Canon and characters for which you write; which is why the SH fandom is the only one I have forayed into at this point - I am not quite into the minds of any of the other fandoms I like to read. I also insist upon Canonical accuracy - my pet peeves being Holmes/Irene (or Holmes/Anyone), slash, time travel, and Holmes being antagonistic toward Mary Morstan...none of which are Canonical. I try to remain stolidly Victorian in my writing, so if you see any egregious Colonialisms, please do let me know! However, I think in the proper circumstances, it is entirely appropriate to tweak the Canon just a bit (ok, more than just a bit) so long as the spirit of the work stays the same. Which is why I obviously have a fondness for AUs, tasteful ones. And just so everyone knows, my OC the Baker Street Irregular Alfie as well as my OC Police Constable Randall Cummings and Mycroft Holmes's secretary Wilkins may be borrowed with my permission - just PM me as a few people already have. Also, my 221B series will be going to 221 chapters; and both it and my two drabble serieses are fair game for any plot bunnies that my grab your attention - just drop me a PM to let me know where to get a good read after you post. :) I am also a Bible-believing Christian; therefore, you will not see any slash, sex, or excessive swearing in my stories. Do I dislike it and believe it's wrong? Yes. Will I stand on a soapbox and rant or send scathing reviews to people with other preferences? Certainly not. If I don't agree with it, I don't read it, it's that simple. I respect others' rights to believe the way they want and in turn expect the same treatment from them; so no religion-bashing if you please. Occasionally my stories may have a spiritual bent; I do not and will not apologize for the fact. If that bothers you, there are plenty of stories on this site that will not and I'd be more than happy to point the best ones out to you.
