Profile overhaul, mainly just so you know what you're getting into with my fanfiction.

I am a firm believer in the idea that you need to be thoroughly immersed in the Canon and characters for which you write. This is why my fandoms are somewhat randomly selected; some childhood loves, some newer loves, but I won't write for a fandom I don't know inside and out, upside down, and in all parallel, mirror, splinter, and alternate universes.
I also insist upon Canonical accuracy - my pet peeves being non-canon pairings and fans' insistence that fanon is canon. And on the subject of canon vs. fanon: please, fans, stop messaging me or reviewing my fics to inform me of what you consider to be 'errors' on my part, because my fanfiction disregards novels, movie novelizations, radio plays, spin-offs, or anything else which is not visible on-screen. I write canon fic, unless clearly indicated - and canon means what is visible on-screen or in bookverse, whichever came first. Just because someone wrote a novelization or a spin-off series or any other work like published fiction in the world of fandom does not mean that work is canon. So, if my fics don't incorporate that work, that doesn't mean I'm ignorant; rather that I believe in canon and only canon as being the foundation of fanfiction - whether I choose to acknowledge fanon is up to me and may be disregarded if I see fit. This means you will never see non-canon pairings, het or slash, in my stories; no ship but friendship here, because that's all I see on-screen or on-page. Nor will you necessarily see what many people believe is accepted fanon detail or events - especially in the Star Trek universe(s). I disagree with some novelizations and some published works in characterization and I'm not apologizing for that. Just because my fic doesn't coincide with such and such published work, does not mean I'm ignorant or that I've made a mistake; the divergence is intentional and won't be changed just because of well-meaning fan 'enlightenment' of me and my writing ability.
My few OCs such as the Baker Street Irregular Alfie, Police Constable Randall Cummings, Mycroft Holmes's secretary Wilkins, ST:TOS's Matthew Turner, etc. may certainly be borrowed with my permission - just PM me first, please.
I am also a Bible-believing Christian; therefore, you will not see any slash, sex, or excessive swearing in my stories. Do I dislike it and consider it to be morally wrong? Yes. Will I stand on a soapbox and rant or send scathing reviews to people with other preferences? Certainly not. If I don't agree with it, I don't read it; it's that simple. I respect others' rights to believe the way they want and in turn expect the same treatment from them. Occasionally my stories may have a spiritual bent; I do not and will not apologize for the fact. If that bothers you, there are plenty of stories on this site that will not and I'd be more than happy to point the best ones out to you. Embrace the spirit of IDIC regarding fandom; live and let live, rejoice in differences, and respect that those differences make life better - that's my philosophy, and I highly disapprove of author or fic or orientation-bashing.
For those of you on LiveJournal, I primarily post there due to the recent odd fanfiction.net stalkers I have here (some blocked if they're registered, some not if they aren't), and so if you want to read my fics over there they are all unlocked to the public on my personal journal (kcscribbler), member-locked on my fic community (kcscribblings). I also occasionally do art fills for meme prompts and sometimes random fic fills that I just don't have the time to cross-post here, so feel free to add me as a friend if you want to read me over on LJ.
So, in short, as long as you're okay with canon-centric, truly gen fic, we'll get along famously. If not, then these probably are not the fics you're looking for. *Jedi hand wave* :)
Speaking of great friendships, here's an unashamed plug for a good chum and an excellent writer, Protector of the Gray Fortress - check out her lovely fics after you're done wading through my long-winded bio.
