Introduction to Crime Scene Fairy

Hey, everybody, and welcome to my profile - the profile of the Crime Scene Fairy. Feel free to call me CSF or Fairy.

I've been here on fanfiction since January 2008. I've gone through a bunch of stories, deleted the really crappy ones, and I'm confident enough to say that I've become a better writer because of my experiences on this site. I believe I can honestly say that if it weren't for fanfiction, my life would be very boring, I would not be in high English classes, and I would not have been able to get on my high school newspaper. I've made friends through this site, and I honestly enjoy coming here, so I think it's safe to say that you're all stuck with me for awhile.

You may have known me on here for several different names - I have gone from MoonyLuvr1456 (my HPFF account goes by this name - go there if you want to see my horrible work years ago), to Bethany Lupin, to Something Fishy This Way Comes, to Autopsy Gremlin, and then to Crime Scene Fairy. I think Crime Scene Fairy is going to last for awhile, because I've gotten several nicknames from it, including CSF and Fairy.

When I first joined, I focused mostly on Harry Potter stories. My horizons have expanded to different fandoms, and I'm more confident at writing different fandoms at the same time now. I get bored when I only write in one fandom at a time, which is why I am usually working on more than one story at a time. While it may take me awhile to get some stories up or chapters posted, I don't abandon my work unless I have to. So just because something doesn't get updated for awhile doesn't mean that it's not going to ever be updated again.

I'm a sucker for happily-ever-afters, which means that some things that have an unhappy ending are not in my good books. I understand a sad ending if there's a sequel, but hey, not all stories should get a happily ever after. I've yet to write one where there isn't a happy ending, but with my forays into Star Wars and Dragon Age and Mass Effect, expect angst and maybe a Earn Your Happy Ending type for them all.

If they end happy, I'll make sure they work for it.

I support Original Characters as long as they're not a Mary Sue. I enjoy Original Character stories, and I enjoy canon/OC pairings as long as they're well done. I'll put up with a lot during stories, and I'm fine with a lot of different situations. I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to fanfiction.

Two quick notes, however; I will not stand for someone copying my work or someone else's. If I see plagarized work, I will report it, and I do ask that if you guys see anyone copying my stuff, that you guys report it to me and to whoever can get the copier to stop. I will not put up with flames. If I see a flame, or recieve one, I will report it and its owner and then sic the Magicarp above on you. After he's evolved in Gyarados of course.

My wonderful unofficial beta is Light Brown Shoes. She's amazing. Seriously. I worry about her sometimes, but hey, she's awesome anyway. Go and read her Hunger Games stories, because they're great stories in a very hard to write fandom, and she's a good writer. :)

Notes about CSF's Fandom Canon

Dragon Age (Thedosian Flowers)
- All of my Dragon Age stories take place in the same universe, the Thedosian Flowers series, unless I note otherwise. Due to my unholy love of AUs, this will occur more than once.
- I will admit that all of my Origins are the females, and that they use the default names because I do honestly like the default names given, especially Elissa and Lyna. I will also say that in that universe, Marian Hawke is a mage.
- While Elissa Cousland is the Warden, the other Origins - Solona Amell, Sereda Aeducan, Kallian Tabris, Natia Brosca, Lyna Mahariel, and Leonie Caron - do have their own stories in this universe. And they do appear. Some more often than others, but they do all appear.
- Yes, I know that the names of the Mubari (Aedan for Elissa's and Garrett for Marian's) are the male default names. There's a reason for that.
- For the sake of my sanity, Dragon Age II starts two years after the Blight ends, and the Blight ends a year after Ostagar. Awakening begins a year after the death of the Archdemon, a year before Dragon Age II, and two years after Ostagar.

Mass Effect (Isobel Shepard Series)
- My lovely Shepard is Isobel Shepard, a colonist/war hero/paragon/soldier who romanced Kaidan Alenko in Mass Effect 1, sacrificed Ashley on Virmire, managed to get everyone through the suicide mission alive, and remained loyal to Kaidan in Mass Effect 2. ;) Garrus is her best friend ever, though.
- Isobel chose the Destroy Ending, and got out alive, my girl. :)

Star Wars (Force War Chronicles)
Force War Chronicles are a series of interconnected stories that take place in an alternate Star Wars universe where Revan was a girl, as was the Exile. Pretty much, it's my headcanon of Star Wars in fanfiction form. The movies are canon, and while elements of the EU are used, not all of them work with Force War canon. I've yet to decide whether the new Disney Star Wars movies fit into my headcanon.

There are two main parts of the Force War Chronicles: the first part takes place in the time period of The Old Republic and follows my eight player characters, as seen below. There will also be two novelizations for Knights of the Old Republic - Revan's story, and the Exile's story. There will be numerous moments that take place during the in-game plotlines, some crossovers and strange friendships between them, and numerous after-stories of the game.

The second part takes place during the years after the Battle of Yavin and goes to 57 ABY. It's all interconnected however, and more of a study of how bloodlines change things in Star Wars, but still stays to the core themes of redemption and family in the series. Some will be short stories, some longer, and one huge epic that ties in with Fate of the Jedi and numerous other plotlines.

As a note, however - most of these names are not the ones I have on The Old Republic. The only ones that are the same are Kadie, Adriane, and Nyrial. The others are my headcanon names and not the real names of my characters in the game. My legacy name, however, is Forcewar - so if you see me, whisper and say something. :) But here at their names, classes, and main love interest.

- Unlike in canon, Luke and Mara met when Mara went to assassinate Luke directly after the Battle of Endor, meaning they met during the events at Bakura. They ended up getting along better than expected, and things changed between them. Luke and Mara married about four years later, not long before the adventure on Dathomir with Han and Leia.
- Mara and Luke's first son, Ben, was born three months before the twins in 9 ABY.
- This part will eventually be written out someday, but the comics surrounding Anakin Solo's birth do have some affect here. Mara was pregnant with her and Luke's daughter in 11 ABY and during Luke's Dark Side run, and gave birth to her six months after Anakin was born, while Luke was trapped in a coma after Kyp's attack.
- In 13 ABY, in a time of general peace, Mara gave birth to her and Luke's second daughter, a girl named Lara.
- The series starts in 23 ABY, in my AU of Young Jedi Knights and Junior Jedi Knights. This will be a half oneshot series and a half full storyline.

Cause of Death (Fanfiction Announcements)

So I updated A Drabble a Dozen last night, and I'm very proud that I actually wrote something that wasn't complete crap. So please check it out and leave a review while you're there. Next chapter with be my Sith Inquisitor/Assassin Kadie Rand and everyone's favorite half-crazy pirate Andronikos Revel. And I am excited for that drabble set, because they're a fine pair.

I am writing Chapter 26 of Turning Tables, so it's going slowly. I hope to update before the end of this week, with a chapter that will be a little longer than usual.

Beyond that, I'm working on Ferelden Roses, which is a Dragon Age novelization that will go into an AU of the whole series. I'm working things around so they won't clash too horribly with Dragon Age III: Inquisition coming out in the winter, and so I'll be able to write it. Numerous oneshots and short stories will come around the Thedosian Flowers series, so expect that sooner or later. Probably later, since I still have a few months until I graduate high school.

I'm also working on Force War a bit. More specifically, a oneshot starring Adriane and Rayley, who are my Bounty Hunter and Smuggler respectivally, whose friendship is introduced in the most recent chapter of A Drabble a Dozen. It'll serve to introduce them both a bit more, and to explain how Adriane ended up with Braden and how Rayley ended up smuggling for Skavak.

It shall be fun. Because those two together are just fun to write.
