Please wish me luck as I am entering the other side of Fanfiction; the more serious and mature side. I cannot promise that I will be good at it but hopefully you guys will help mold me into a better writer. On Gossip Girl: Gossip Girl is, if anything, my favorite television show and has brought me into an entirely new world of shows such as Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill, and the O.C. I began watching Gossip Girl when half of the first season premiered so I've practically followed it from beginning to end. At first I was easily attracted to Blair because of how she contradicted the stereotypical leading lady of a hit show with her wise remarks and overall aura. With Blair I easily found myself relating to her in many different levels. Blair's complexities is what makes her one of the best actors on Gossip Girl though my feelings on this statement changed during the second half of Gossip Girl when her acting skill changed from original to a ploy to bring in even more fans. None the less I am and will possibly forever be on Team Blair. The second character that easily got my attention was Chuck Bass. I think every Gossip Girl fan will agree that Ed Westwick delivers such an unconscious but meticulous acting skill that it sends shivers down your spine every time he's uttering his catch phrase "I'm Chuck Bass." As for the rest of the cast the only people I don't seem to be too fond of are the Brooklynites (With the exception of Dan because from the second season onward he's obviously adapted to the UES world and joined it). On Harry Potter: I shamefully admit that I haven't read a single Harry Potter book despite my attempts. It's not because I don't like the books but it's because I already spoiled it for myself by reading it's plot on the internet. Yes, I know I'm a disgrace :( But I've watched all the movies, though the first two are very vague in my mind because I lacked interest and mental capacity when they came out (I forgot when exactly). I still love the whole idea of Harry Potter and it's characters. On the Clique: The Clique was one of the first series' I've read when I was younger so I have let it's brand name obsession and mean girl lifestyle get the best of me but now, years later, I've seen the error of my ways for being so drawn to its lifestyle. But now that I've driven away from that I still read it and follow it because, well, I find it interesting to see Massie thrive for perfection and the Pretty Committee follow her religiously. Ships I love: Blair Waldorf/Chuck Bass (Consistent love) Serena vanderWoodsen/ Nate Archibald Blair Waldorf/Dan Humphrey (It's intriguing and it's the only unexplored couple on the show) Isobel Stevens-Karev/Alex Karev Addison Montgomery/Mark Sloan Meredith Grey/Derek Shepherd Draco Malfoy/OC Ron Weasley/OC Ron Weasley/Hermione Granger Lily Potter/James Potter Sirius Black/OC Massie Block/Derek Harrington Summer Roberts/Seth Cohen Ryan Atwood/Taylor Townsend Favorite stories: Crayon Apology (Gossip Girl) My Saving Grace (Gossip Girl) Several times (Gossip Girl) Harry Potter and Snape's daughter (Harry Potter) Two kinds of beautiful (Gossip Girl) Notorious (The Clique) The Gryffindor Misfit (Harry Potter) Mint Chocolate chip (Gossip Girl) Similarities (Gossip Girl) An Alternate adventure: Goblet of fire (Harry Potter) | |||||||||
