Update: I have a forum up now for my stories and a few other general subjects. So drop by and leave a post if you feel like it.
Well, I suppose I should start by introducing myself. I'm a nineteen year old college student, so I can't guarantee an even pace when it comes to updates...Assuming anyone wants to keep track of what I'm writing, anyway.
I've got an insane number of fandoms that I love, and even more pairings to go with them. The ones you'll probably see most when I'm involved are the Final Fantasy series, Dragonball Z, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Avatar: TLA, Fullmetal Alchemist, and most recently, Naruto. You might also spot me where Buffy and/or Angel, Smallville, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and Fable fans tend to hang around.
Since we're talking about things that I'm a fan of, one more thing I enjoy is getting reviews. Like it, hate it, no real opinion on it, I'd like to hear it all. Plus, it's pretty much the only thing the writers here get for putting stories up. I do the writing for myself. That's just something I enjoy. But for me at least, going through the editing process (In other words, editing it and re-reading it as many times as necessary to make it presentable. A process that can be even more drawn out and time consuming if the writer has one or more beta readers) and taking the time to upload the documents, that's all for the readers. So all reviews are appreciated.
As I'm a bit new to writing fanfiction, I don't really know for certain what pairings I like to write the most, so I'm just testing the waters a bit. But when it comes to the pairings I prefer...Well, there are a lot, so I'll just list a few from a couple fandoms. I'm fond of Naruto/Sakura, NaruSakuSasu, Jiraiya/Tsunade, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Anakin/Padme, Han/Leia, Squall/Rinoa, Cloud/Tifa, Tidus/Yuna, etc, etc. As you can see, I tend to primarily enjoy the canon pairings/potentially canon pairings. But I like to mix it up a little, so I'll read other pairings now and then. I'm not usually obsessed with one pairing...There are a few though.
I currently have five stories posted, but I have a number in the works. The majority of my stories deal in "what if" scenarios. What if _ had lived, what if _ had been raised by so and so, etc, etc. However, I do have plans for a few other kinds. My main hope is that I can make the more commonly seen fics without them become too OOC or cliche. One thing I try hard to avoid is bashing characters. Even if I don't like them, I'll try not to bash them. I've been turned off of good stories because of excessive character bashing before, so assuming my stories are good, I'm trying to avoid that problem.
And just to make sure we're on the same page (Seeing as I can apparently be pretty vague at times), when I say one of these, I mean:
In-Progress: Currently being written.
Chapter in planning Stages: Overall story idea is pretty solid, specific events, characters, etc, etc. are being fit into the chapter.
Story in planning Stages: Not many specifics are worked out, still outlining where I want to go with the story. I might have major events, but overall it still has a decent bit of work. Currently, most of my stories are here. If I mention them below, I'm probably closer to starting on the first chapter.
Current Stories
Update on progress: W00T! Finally started updating again. The next chapter of SOLDIER is up, and it should be followed by more updates to both it and my other stories pretty soon.
On another note, someone brought the subject of slash pairings up with me, so I figured I should mention it here. I like slash when it's well written (But then, that's generally something I look for in all pairings), but I don't know how well I'd write it. Heck, I don't know how well I'd write a het pairing. So I guess that all of my stories with unconfirmed pairings now have a Slash Warning for those who don't like it. As the pairings being "unconfirmed" implies, I don't know exactly where I'll take them, so I'm not sure if they'll end up with slash in them or not. Either way, I'm trying to keep pairings from being the main focus of the story (Unless it actually is a romance fic, of course), so there shouldn't be anything too explicit, het, slash, or whatever else it may be. If I think there's going to be something I think is too explicit, I'll try to give a fair warning. Hope that doesn't turn anyone off.
Naruto
Oath: A story in which a young Itachi overhears Minato during the Kyuubi's attack, and decides to take it upon himself to watch out for Naruto. Itachi might be a little OOC at times, but I'm trying to keep him in character.
Parings, for those interested: None confirmed.
Progress: Chapter twenty complete. Chapter twenty-one in progress.
Oath: Apprentice: A story taking place after chapter fourteen of "Oath." It focuses on the various characters in Oath, and their adventures during the time skip between chapter fourteen (Naruto is around six) and chapter fifteen (Naruto is around twelve).
Pairings, for those interested: None confirmed.
Progress: Chapter two complete, chapter three in progress.
Reversal: A time travel fic that I'm hoping will be unique.
Pairings, for those interested: Naru/Saku, Sasu/Saku.
Progress: Chapter five complete. Chapter six in progress. UPDATE: Sighs Sorry about this, but it's going on a temporary hiatus of sorts. No, I haven't stopped working on it. But Oath, its related story (Apprentice), and SOLDIER were my first stories up, and among the first ones that I had planned. So while this will still get updates on occasion, most of my focus will be on those three. I'm afraid I wasn't thinking, and bit off a bit more than I could chew when I started posting multiple stories. Again, really, really sorry about this. But there shouldn't be any other "dead periods" where I don't update for several months, like there was this time.
Final Fantasy VII
SOLDIER, First Class: A story in which, due to a relatively small change in events, Zack survives the final encounter on the cliff outside of Midgar alongside Cloud. Planned to cover the entire story of FFVII, though I might push it on to the sequels as well. I haven't seen many "Zack Survives" stories, so I'm hoping this isn't too cliche. Latest Update: And now, we prepare to leave Midgar in what may be the longest chapter yet :)
Pairings, for those interested: Cloud/Tifa, Zack/Aerith.
Progress: Chapter eleven complete. Chapter twelve in progress (Literally just putting the finishing touches on it, and fixing a few things up).
Final Fantasy VIII
The Successor: A fic taking place thirty-six years after FFVIII. An attempt at what's hopefully going to be a unique next-gen fic. Haven't read many lately, so I'm not sure if it's been done yet or not. Despite the numerous pairings, there's not much focus on romance.
Pairings, for those interested: Squall/Rinoa, Selphie/Irvine, Zell/Lyra (Library Girl), Fujin/Zone, possibly some OC/OC.
Progress: Chapter two complete: ON HIATUS, considering a rewrite.
Harry Potter
The Twin Who Lived: A story in which Harry has a twin, who's believed to be the Boy Who Lived. I'm hoping that I can throw some original twists in there to make it more interesting.
Pairings, for those interested: Probably Harry/Luna.

Super Smash Bros:
The Rat Must Die!: My attempt at humor inspired by Ichigo-Cream's "SSBB Poor Snake..." comic. Follows the adventures of Solid Snake as he tries to woo Samus, and rid the universe of the evil rodent menace known as Pikachu. Unfortunately for Snake, getting rid of the rodent is easier said than done.
Pairings: Mild Snake/Samus.
Progress: Chapter one complete, chapter two in progress. Yay, I decided to continue :)
Planned Stories
Most planned stories are still temporarily suspended, but a few are back in progress, some with rewrites/revisions. But as with TTWL and Reversal, updates will be coming much, much more slowly than with my "main" stories.
