So, I accidentally managed to delete my profile (takes real skill I'll have you know), but I suppose it was time for a new profile anyways so here goes:

I'm Ara (formerly JK Mafia), I'm a band geek, a geek geek, and a fanfiction addict. I like cookies, books, the interweb, LotR, Tamora Pierce, Red v. Blue, xkcd, Math, and a whole bunch of other random things :D

Important fact: None of my stories (and I do mean none) are abandoned. Seriously. I'm working on them. Even if I haven't updated in a year. You can be sure that somewhere on at least 1 of 4 computers and 2 flash drives there's a file lurking with a half-done chapter :D

However if you'd like to stay abreast of current status (especially for Close Protection and Sir Nealan) I suggest you visit my Livejournal (which is what the very pretty link up there called homepage goes to). If you prefer insanity...well, my other lj is allserendipity and the posts there tend to be a bit more interesting :D And unfanfic related, unless you are my friend, in which case you get to see my terrible drafts, story outlines, and other sketchy things. Yeah...

I have many, many ideas float around my head and my technology, and even gasp notebooks, in various stages of writeness and doneness. So never fear, more shall appear soon.

My Fandoms:

AR - AR is where I spend most of my time right now. I have a WIP 'Close Protection' (also abreivated to CP, CPOAS, or whatever other lazy shorthand I feel like at the moment) and one one-shot posted and many more ideas around. I like this fandom's slash (Alex/Wolf, Ian/Ash, John/Yassen) because really, the girls kind of suck. Though I suppose Alex/Sabina is ok as long as the romance is not the main point of the story. Gen fics are good. Gen fics are very good. And K-unit is awesome too!

I'm taking part in The Firm, a collective story-writing thingy, which is all very cool. Hopefully our awesome story will be up soon.

I also co-mod the AR Rating System (profile: here, forum: here). We rate stories and post our ratings so fandom readers can find maybe some new good fics to read _ Please do check us out, and if you'd like, join us and help us rate!

In addition, I'm one of The Terrifying Fairies (yeah, the one who hasn't posted anything). I'm working on it. No, really. And I had inspiration last night and now I'm a writing fiend evil laugh

TP - This is where I started my fanfic experience :D I have a WIP here 'Sir Nealan' that I'm working on updating now, as well as a collection of oneshots that may get added to if inspiration hits _ I'm firmly Kel/Dom with a little Becca/Rostos on the side. Though, these days I haven't been reading much. Neal is my favorite character though. He's just so fun to write :D

HP - As of now, I have nothing posted in this fandom. I am however working on several fics right now. I'm a huge H/D shipper (oh yeah!) and I read. A ton. Though mostly not on FF.net. I've found some really good rec lists I'm perusing. However, I do hope to be posting something soon.

Ocean's 11 - For me, this is a read-only fandom. But I do love reading :D
