I have been an avid and voracious follower of Fandom for several years. My obsessions and loves are mostly MacGyver, Stargate SG-1, Angel and Supernatural respectively – and through these wonderful shows I have stumbled across the joy that is fanfic. Needless to say, I have been hooked ever since.
Not only am I an insatiable reader and reviewer of fanfic (as some of you may already know), but I love to write as well – though my stories and drabbles tend to lean towards the darker side of the fiction realms: Horror, blood, torture, mayhem and suspense to be exact. Not what I would call everyone's cup of tea, I realize, but I do like to think that there is a place for my type of work in fandom. I may not be the best writer (and I certainly hope I'm not the worst!) but I do try to fill my little niche in the arena of fanfic to the best of my abilities.
Now, as it so often happens – RL has taken over and is drawing me away from my writing and reading (who's RL doesn't?) more often than I like, but in the end you will always find me amongst my circle of friends and fellow lovers of fic, immersed in the Land of Dreams and Nightmares that is Fanfiction, when RL slows down a peg.
To all those who know me – know that I adore you, and think of you often and fondly. To all those I will hopefully get to know – Welcome to the Insanity that is my Mind! Buckle up – it's a bumpy ride – but no worries! We can make it together (I brought chocolate and a flashlight).
The road is dark and long – but there is always a light at the end of the journey…
