Author has written 43 stories for Inuyasha. Hello, I am Nikkie, I am a female and an Artist first before being a writer. My Avator - That is Mine. I'm also a member of several communities on LiveJournal. I've been writing since 2006. What will be posted here will be my less explicit works. I may post the edited versions here. Background I started off my love with Inuyasha as a reader : following the manga and anime. Then I discovered Fanfaction and from there I found my Literary Goddesses and God. I got inspired from one story I read and did my first FanArt. In fact, my Avator is Mine, I made it. So I'm pretty possessive about. Then came other FanArt piccies. And from there I discovered other Mangas and Anime. FanART : I have done several pieces of FanArt for my Literary Goddesses. 'On Top of the World' from Doggieearlover's story She's Like the Wind/Power of Love Plus other additional piece not yet ready for posting. Some that are to remain hidden until the unveiling. About Pairings: I Read and Write strictly InuYasha/Kagome pairings. They are an OTP (One True Pairing) as written by Rumiko Takahashi herself. (The other OTP pairings She wrote clearly are: Inu/Kik -pre-Naraku, Miroku/Sango, Sesshoumaru/Kagura and Sesshoumaru/Older Rin) InuYasha and Kagome: They portray the truest sense of True Love. They have grown as a person as they travelled together and in doing so grown to love each other. I will only accept Inu/Kag/Sess pairings if ALL consent to it and InuYasha is there for every interaction. After that I play with the pairings. I am rather partial to Miroku/Sango and Sesshoumaru/Adult!Rin, Sesshoumaru/Kagura but can pair them off with others. With InuYasha I do like to write about his Dog Behaviours. I also enjoying writing about Jaken and getting him to have Romances as well. I can't stand these pairings/characters: Inu/Sango Inu/Miroku - it squicks me... but if Miroku is with any other guy.. I find that cool. Sess/Kagome - DEFINITELY NO! Miroku/Kagome basically Kagome(or InuYasha) with Anyone else besides InuYasha(Kagome) Kagome or InuYasha with any crossover guy/girl Inu/Kouga (they can't even stand each other and Kouga is a deserter - he runs away alot) Not a big fan of Kouga, Miroku and Shippou. So if I can.. I won't include them into a story. My Style: I do mostly humour and romance. I guess some could be labelled as Crack!Fic/Parodies. I am somewhat better at those. Sometimes I'll do angst and horror. And the odd love scene, smut. You will NEVER see me write Kagome abusing the rosary for 'kicks and giggles'. I will also try and provide as much warnings, pairing information, etc... as I can... I like my readers to have an informed choice as to whether or not they wish to read. I do write Miroku as a two-timer who'll have affairs behind Sango's back. That is his nature. About Me: I listen to J-Pop/Rock like Gackt (thanks to you E-Quahlo!!), Ayame Hamasaki, V-6, BoA, Hyde, InuYasha/Kagome.. etc... Gothic Rock/Pop like Evanescence, Within Temptation, Nightwish. Sonata Arctica (thanks Brad), Soft Rock/Pop like Sting, Depeche Mode (Thanks again Farawayeyes!!) Harder Rock like Linkin Park (thanks Inugrrrl), Metallica, Classical, Nature Music like the Solitudes series, Aboriginal Music like Australian Didgeridoo, Shamanic drumming and Inuit Throat Music ... just about everything... I have a very open mind for the most part. Always bubbly and bouncy and in good spirits. If someone has potential then I will encourage them to be more to keep trying. I am quite the Cheerleader. I don't believe in Flaming anyone for bad/awful stories. It was MY choice to read it and it is MY choice to stop reading it if the story is horrible both in story or in grammar/spelling. I WILL Flame if someone is stupid enough to Plagiarize. And I WILL contact a Publishing Company and Author if a person is stupid enough to steal from a published author I read. If I come across an idea I read somewhere and I would like to use it I will ASK for PERMISSION to use that idea from the writer before I use it. Something that can help writers if they have no way to get a dictionary: http://dictionary.reference.com/ it's online and it's free to use. Things That Ruin Stories/ My Dislikes: People who write and post in one pairing section only to really be writing about a completely different pairing and post in the Inu/Kag pairing section of FF just to get readers. People who are Review Whores - those who hold their stories hostages until they get X number of reviews before they consider posting again. Huge Turn Off that drives away readers. They don't write for the pleasure of writing.. they write for the attention they get. I can't stand it when people write InuYasha as a bigger slut than the whole of North and South America together. When they write him as dumb, illiterate and clueless. He is the son of a Princess and during the feudal era only the nobles knew how to read and write. When they write him as a cruel, vicious, dishonourable bastard who betrays Kagome. Kagome as a whiny, brainless, spineless crybaby who abuses InuYasha with the rosary. He even stated it HURTS him when she abuses it in the Manga and the Anime. That is like walking down a street or hanging out in a park and seeing someone punching, slapping, or kicking their friend/partner/child/lover/boy-girlfriend/husband-wife/family all because they didn't like what that person said or did or they are having a bad day or they wanted to make other people feel better and laugh or if that is way they always want to win an argument. If you trust and care for a person you don't go around showing it like that and saying "Well, They deserved it." Hate the rosary with a passion. Saving his life I can see this. Miroku groping Sango in every paragraph or sentence. The occasionally grope yes, that works, but when it's written so much it's equalling breathing/blinking. I also dislike it when InuYasha is written by hurting Kagome either by betrayal through Kikyou or whatever female crosses his path - so she runs away bawling/angry, gets attacked by "Blah-Blah" monster only to be saved by Sesshoumaru who has discovered his Feminine side to have instant True Love/sex in the next paragraph. I really can't stand writers who write that Sexual Molestation/Rape as "Cool/Funny/Sexy". There is a HUGE difference between Dominance/Aggressive sex and Rape! Writers who just don't give a care if they write good or not. They just do it because they are bored or their friends are doing it. My Literary Goddesses and God: are writers who I call my Literary Goddesses and God are exceptional and highly talented writers. You know who you are! 'wink'. They draw me into the story. Make me a part of it, part of the characters. I feel what they feel. They write stories that have SOULS and Heart. They ARE what writing is all about.
