Author has written 3 stories for Oblivion, and Star Wars. Just a Texas boy trying to learn himself gooder. When I discovered the Elder Scrolls IV video game the creative juices which had been lying stagnant for so long began to percolate once more. Now after not writing for almost six years I'm trying to perfect one of my greatest passions. Although my skills may be a bit rusty, I'm hoping y'all can help me out. Don't be afraid to rip apart my work, it's kind of why I'm here after all. On a completely unrelated note I was one of the many who cried like a two-year-old - who just found out he isn't getting the candy he wanted at the checkout line - when Joss Whedon's Firefly was cancelled. And if you've never heard of Firefly, then shame on you! Active Stories For Love of Magic - The first Oblivion fanfic I ever wrote (I almost called it "Once and Future Archmage" before coming to my senses)! For a long time I had this idea about two friends with very different personalities and ideologies going through the Mages Guild recommendation quests. How would they react to each other and their situations? Could I write a story that had both humor and drama? What would happen to them over the years as their skills increased and stories evolved? Then I thought, what would happen if they joined up before Traven issued his ban on Necromancy? (incomplete - next update 12/2008) Sister of Shadows - My second foray into the world of Oblivion and my biggest headache. I'd read a few Dark Brotherhood stories with female protagonists on the site before coming up with this idea, but they all read the same. Some girl's family tries to kill her, but she kills them, is recruited into the Brotherhood, and falls in love with Lucien. I'd wanted to write a story with an amoral protagonist but always ended up chickening out. Then I toyed with the idea about a girl who joins the Brotherhood but was almost brainwashed by Lucien. I asked myself what would really happen to a little girl's psyche if she was forced to kill just to survive? (incomplete - next update 12/2008) Works in Progress (subject to change) Knight of Faith (working title) - What would it be like for a Dunmer who barely knew the Nine Divine's names to arrive in Anvil and find out he was their chosen champion? (conceptual - unwritten) Soldier of Honor (working title) - An aging Redguard and ranking member of the Fighters Guild discovers a disturbing secret about their newest competitors. (conceptual - unwritten) Road of Champions (working title) - A young man from lands far away comes to Cyrodiil in search of his family's past. Instead he finds the future of an Empire lies in his unwilling hands. (conceptual - unwritten) The Taint of Evil (working title) - Twenty years after the Oblivion Crisis ends, the remaining Five Heroes of Cyrodiil must reunite to save the ailing Empire.
