And my name is (just a line in a song?) from Thank You for the Venom by (who else?) My Chemical Romance Hi I'm Nikki and I'm just that girl, if you know what I mean. I wish I could join the ginger club but I'm more of an auburn (with blue and black and the occasional pink dye in there). I'm a weensy bit pale what with being Irish and Polish and Russian all at once. I'm an athiest, swear to god. I live in Connecticut, so help me, but my heart lives both in the city and out of the country, for that matter. I love music and art and over-formatting and you. My friends call me many things: Kek (very mysterious, no?) and Moony (I've got a Padfoot, a Prongs, and a Tonks as well) which happens to be my favorite, even though I'm much more of a Tonks, myself (see number nine of the random facts). As far as music goes, there are a few things worth mentioning. I'm a die-hard fan of the band My Chemical Romance, those guys are like oxygen to me. I also play guitar in a wannabe band, although I pride myself on being more of a lyricist. I'm a big fan of Taking Back Sunday, The Used, and The Academy Is . . . as well. I live and breath music (if you're looking for me, I'll be at the show), which is relevant seeing as much of my work is inspired by it. Art is what you can get away with, so says Andy, and who am I to argue? Reading is love, got a problem with that? I love White Oleander, Invisible Monsters (give me envy, give me malice, baby give me a break), Artemis Fowl, and My Sister's Keeper. I'm also an addict to the show House MD, because how could I not be? (He's like the god of all biting, antisocial, sarcastic, feverishly clever nutcases, you know?) Not to mention I have the biggest fangirl crush on Robert Sean Leonard. My favorite literary characters: Possible spoilers. Remus Lupin;; I love him so much. So, so, so much. I was one of the ones who didn't cry about Dumbledore, Sirius, or any of them, but aw man. I totally broke down, especially in the resurrection stone scene. Nymphadora Tonks;; She's clumsy and cool and witty and eccentric. She's me. I love myself. :D Artemis Fowl;; I wish I could be as cool as this kid, really. Really. I quote him in hopes of looking cooler. Stephenie Plum;; She makes me smile like nothing else. Such a Jersey girl, I love it. Campbell Alexander;; Just for the record, I read that book before the movie was even being theorized, Campbell's mine. He's like an older Arty Gary Jones;; Jonesy! He's like Remus, except expanded upon! And don't tell me that there's not something incredibly sexy about a man trapped inside his own head. Because there is. And I ship, of course! Major: Remus/Tonks;; Harry Potter. So cute. So, co, so cute. You know how I am with my older, poor, lycanthropic guys. Soda pop x Hot chocolate. Isn't that cute? Probably my OTP : Snape/Lily;; Harry Potter. It just . . . it makes everything so nice and good, you know? I mean, in theory, I love it. In practice, I love Lily and James. Remus/Sirius;; HP. Come on, now. Don't even tell me it's not adorable. I won't listen. Shoebox Project, guys. The Shoebox Project. Todd/Lovett;; Sweeney Todd. How can you ship anything else? Holly/Artemis;; Artemis Fowl. Love, love, love. Cameron/House;; House MD. Perfection. Absolutely the best chemistry on television, or any other media for that matter, and it looks like the producers are going to ruin it. Cameron/Wilson;; House MD. Ugh, have you ever seen any two people more sickly destined to fall in love? Obviously, the producers disagree with me, as it's never even been hinted at. House/Wilson;; House MD. Yes. Yes, yes, yes, because come on , it's practically (completely) canon. Couples counseling? Yes. Stacey/Mark;; House MD. . . . . I just don't want her to be in the show anymore. 'Nuff said. 13/Foreman;; House MD. First off, why does everyone want 13 to die? I like her . . . and Foreman is good for her. 13/Wilson;; He feeds on needy, she's dying, 'nuff said. 13/House;; Not a huge fan, but I really like it/would like to see more of it. Some random facts to help you along: 1) My number one pet peeve is when people fav my stories but don't review - House MD fandom lurkers, that's aimed at you. It takes two minutes, and it feeds my ego. 2) I am a quote whore, feed me quotes and I will turn them into stories. 3) I have a lot of crushes on obscenely older men. But I don't care! 4) I really, really like talking to people about things that interest me, so if I go off about something, you can stop me. It's a habit. 5) I love connecting with my readers - review, PM, email me, it makes my day. 6) I'm not just a fanfiction prancer, literature is basically my life, along with music. 7) Along with writing, I'm an avid lyricist, and I'm always ready to show anyone some songs. 8) I'm ridiculously sarcastic, but I try not to be outright mean to people that I don't know. 9) I'm dead clumsy. Dead, dead, dead, as in 'will kill herself by way of inanimate object one day' clumsy. Watch the fuck out. 10) I'm feverishly arrogant, confident, and self centered in that fun, fashionista, camera whore type way.
