Hello and welcome to my profile page.

I am a fifteen year old male. My aspirations in life are to be an actor or author. Preferably both. I love to write and i love to act, which seems obvious since those are my career choices. Well i also enjoy learning and playing new instruments as well as marching in the marching band. I currently play alto saxophone in band and marching band but i also play soprano saxophone, flute, recorder, and dulcimer though i'm always looking for new intruments to learn. I also enjoying singing and were it not for our schools complicated and very frusterating scheduling system i would be in both band and choir. As it is i was only able to participate in one year of choir (in middle school) where i had fun doing show choir in addition to the concert choir. Another passion of mine is reading. I feel that in order to be a good writer you need to read good writing. Of course i'm not the only one who thinks seeing as i stole that quote from someone whose name currently escapes me. I hope you enjoy my writings, i will admitt i don't write a lot of fanfiction and am not particularly good at it, but i still hope that the few of you who found nothign better to read will liek it and remember that any reviews, even if you think it all crap, are welcomed. (Though if you say it's crap please leave a reason, otherwise i'll have to assume you are just a judgmental freak with too much time on your hands... though aren't we all?)

Top Ten Musicals: I am an avid fan of musicals. I feel that the teach lessons, are fun to sing, and are great inspiration for you own stories... though really kiddy ones are just plain stupid and i'll be the first to admitt that.

10 (tie). West Side Story- There is one and only one good reason this is in my top ten... it has a few nice songs. I am not a big fan of the over all plot but i've had the song "Something's Coming" stuck in my head for the past month or so and i feel that the musical it came from deserves a spot here just for that!

10 (tie). Oklahoma- This, just like West Side Story is on here for the same reason. See though I think the plot is weak, it is semi-humorous and it has one or two good songs.

9 (tie). Sound of Music- This musical is a classic and i couldn't help but put it on my list. From it's catchy songs to the mere fact that they had some great singers cough-julie andrews-cough I feel that this musical earned its spot in the top ten

9 (tie). White Christmas- First of I'm a big fan of Rosemary Clooney, add that to the fact that this musical is funny and includes great songs and there is no question to why this musical is in my top ten!

8. Moulin Rouge- I'll admitt that perhaps the only reason this is number 8 on my list is because i watched it very recently and the songs are all stuck in my head. But the reasons it are in the top ten are undeniable. First of it is full of plots twists. You know how it's goign to end just to be WRONG and it kept me on my toes! Even if it was a tad... odd.

7. Rent- So yeah Rent is definately... "different" but hey it's funny, and it has some really cool songs. And great performances all around. This one definately earned its spot in the top ten.

6. (tie). Sweeney Todd- This musical was one i was most anxious to see when it came out on film. I felt that the film did the musical justice, in fact i prefered it to previous makes of it. From it's quirky sense of humor to its eerie yet catchy songs this musical had me laughing the whole way through... is that normal? hahaha

6. (tie). Hair Spray- One of the reasons this musical is so spectacular to me, is that when i first saw it i went with a group of friends which made it... a lot more than it probable would have been say if i had seen it alone. It does have some cool songs though, and in most of the performances i've seen everyone's done a wonderful job.

5 (tie). Beauty and the Beast- One of my all time favorites this musical as a kid this musical is reviting with catchy songs, funny characters, and a message.

5 (tie). Wizard of Oz- Like Beauty and the Beast this was a favorite of mine as a kid and i thought it was funny. Of course the effects aren't that great but the message is clear and i think that it was a good musical with some great songs.

4. Chicago- If you didn't like this musical someone should shoot you! Of course i'm kdiding but for those of you who did see it probably thought that was very funny and thank you. This musical was well performed, funny, and great songs, you know? All that Jazz.

3 (tie). Phantom of the Opera- This musical isn't as "funny" as the others on this list, and because of that it earned its spot. Not all musicals are all about jokes and haha's! Some are serious, some are dark and that's why this one is in not only my top ten but my top five!

3 (tie). Wicked- This musical has some great songs, great twists, and overall was really well thought and done.

2. Avenue Q- I was origionally introduced to this song when a friend told me to listen to "It sucks to be me" after i was complaining once. This song hooked me into this musical and after listening to the whole musical it become one of my all time favorites.

1. Into the Woods- I saw this musical very young and i imediately liked it. It was funny, catchy and serious. Everything a musical should be! It has some of my all time favorite songs and Bernadette Peters was an amazing witch and made the role for me.
