I guess I should start with my history on FanFiction. I started out reading fanfics on MuggleNet, and then started to write my own fanfiction about Harry Potter, which I was way too scared to post on that site. From a link or something on that site, I found FanFiction. It was like the golden gates opening up; this place was so big that I doubted I'd have a problem being embarrassed about my fics. So after reading fics for two years on the site and a friend convincing me to join, here I am. My writing. I'm far from the best writer in the universe. But I try, and you can probably see a big difference in my earlier works to my latest ones (please, don't read the fics from a year ago, haha). I write a lot of fanfics in the Harry Potter fandom, as well as Final Fantasy X and (recently) the Hunger Games, and an occasional Kingdom Hearts. I flip around to many different fandoms, depending on my "flame" at the time. So, basically, if I find a book or play a game or watch a movie or TV show that I really like, you can bet you'll see a fic about it up here. Even though I seriously don't need to add another fandom to the growing list of ones I've already joined, haha, but still. Writing fanfiction seems to be my way of getting into the character's heads and exploring situations that could have taken place. I also write some original fiction, too (winner of NaNoWriMo 2008 and 2009, woo!). And I have a FictionPress account here, even though I doubt I'll post anything. But I can already tell I'm going to have close to no free time over the next four months. Once most people have gotten the chance to read Mockingjay, I'll be posting some drabbles for Odds in Your Favor about that crazy book. I have a lot of thoughts and opinions on it, so if you want to discuss, feel free to PM me! I hope to convey some of my feelings and beliefs about the book through my drabbles as well, so I'm going to wait maybe another month before I post my first MJ drabble. Live to Love -- it will get finished, eventually! I hardly doubt I'm going to update Hidden Scars. The competition is over, and the HP universe is too large for any type of one-shot series. But if someone wants to request, I'd be happy to write something and post it for them. My betaing is slowed down a little, but if you have a story or one-shot you'd like me to beta, PM me.
