Author has written 15 stories for Twilight, Naruto, Blood+, Kingdom Hearts, and Mortal Instruments. prelude to madness. me What can I say? I'm normal, rather easily irritated, a total dorkface and I love to write. I live in Phoenix, which is the capital of the state of Arizona for non-American's who are currently wondering. I have a strong immunity, meaning I don't usually get sick. I'm kinda young but I won't tell you how old I am. (I'm just secretive like that.) I own a Mac, because they are made of win and deserve it. I read a lot, and my favorite book is Twilight. I am a fanpire and yes, I do bite. I have a lot of general friends, but only a few that can really touch my heart. I am a anime nerd, so don't diss my likes. I appreciate people that review, and to anyone who's kind enough to talk to me, I will reply. I am a beta-reader and am looking for more to beta as well. Sometimes, I can get emotional, so be aware of my feelings. I am allergic to cats, but can handle kittens, as odd as that seems. My dream is to be a writer, but cannot find too many ideas of my own to start a book. (I'm just lame like that.) You diss my girls, and you're in for hell. I don't appreciate flames; if given one, I rant and rave uncontrollably. I love color, blue in particular. Music is my escape from this world. I like different varieties, so don't be afraid to share. From what I've been told, I'm made of win and adorable kittens. One of my besties draws, and is probably going to be a manga artist when she grows up. And why yes, I did just do these fonts just to make my life look cooler. Thanks for noticing. fanfiction history I think I've had plenty of names. My first penname was Hina-chan20. At that time, I was obsessed with Naruto and found this site and simply fangasm'd. I tried to write a fanfiction, but it turned up as epic fail. It was deleted during the winter of 2oo8. My first attempts at fanfiction were absolute rubbish. Most of my Naruto fic's have been deleted, and I don't think I plan to ressurect them anytime soon. I was very illiterate at the time. I tend to be a little boastful about my stories. (Just a heads-up.) Then, my name was Indigo-Nightfall-Cullen20. The inspiration came from a different penname, but sounded beautiful at the time. (The indigo was a violet for about two seconds, until I realized blue was better.) After I went through a rather depressed bit, I changed my name to Midnight Freesia, and I fell in love with it. Making a slight alteration to it, I became Midnight Essence, and plan to keep it. I have risen in my skills, so I don't particulary suck anymore. My reviewers make me feel like the greater powers of the wonderful world of fanfiction, so cupcakes to them. music My favorites range anywhere from the rockin' Paramore to the works of Taylor Swift. I can appreciate Rihanna, but aren't a particular fan. The fact that I was raised with classic rock affects that detail. I also listen to Japanese music, mainly from anime openings. Though I know Micheal Jackson is probably an ethnicity-confused, pedophile, his music is bomb, so don't diss it. The current songs I'm obsessed with right now is Li'l Red Riding Hood by Bowling For Soup, Something I Can Never Have by Flyleaf, and New Divide by Linkin Park. book talk I usually appreciate a well-written, fantasy book that's in some sort of series. I am a big fan of Twilight, Mortal Instruments, Vampire Kisses, and Uglies. If you ever read any of those, you can PM me, and we'll dish. I have also read The Giver, and I agree: the ending was horrid. I love classics, albiet I have difficulty understanding some. Harry Potter is adequate. I'm not a fanwitch, but I have read the books. I also read manga, and only follow the Naruto plot line that way. My favorite is Ouran High School Host Club, just because I'm a girl and I'm like that. I also love Soul Eater, and sadly, the awesomeness that is Soul does not belong to me, but to Jenni-neechan. Me and my friend fight constantly over the ownership of Toshiro Hitsugaya, because he's just made of win and hottness like that. miscellanious I'm a total gamer babe, and I pwn at the awesome that is Guitar Hero. Currently wondering if the oh-so-high-and-mightly Final Fantasy VII is turn-based. (If so, I don't do that.) Cloud belongs to me, as well as Roxas, so respect that fact. I like to talk over email, so just gimme a PM if you'd like to talk. I play the violin, but don't particularly like classical. I love Panda Express to death, even if it is filled with carbs, but I don't care. My favorite homemade food is green bean casserole, because it is heaven. I'm a democrat, and Obama is awesome. Sadly, I am now single, due to the break-up I had with my ex, because he's a dorkface. (Who didn't spend time with me and treat me like I should be treated.) Sorry, I'm still a little sore about that. My plot-bunny is always hopping most of the time, so don't worry about too late updates, unless I'm in school. I hate math with a burning passion, yet managed to exceed higher than ever on my AIMS. (Our testing for everyone until sophmore/junior year.) I almost failed Pre-algebra this year, but I didn't, so yay for me. My friends got me obsessed with Dragon Ball Z, and I am in the middle of the Cell saga. I am also so happy that the bastard that is Freiza is dead. (And if you're like Jenn and make the connection of Freesia = Frieza and tell me of this discovery, I will beat you in the head.) Half of the time I'm a definite perfectionist, and the other half I'm a lazy procrastinator. I recommend the movie Quarantine, and to watch it in the dark. updates So many things, happening! Metamorphosis will probably get updated soon, I promise. But I had this little itty bit of inspiration to Roses & Summer Days but it wasn't there long enough to ride on it. (blegh) I finally got a new chapter of Not All Bats Have Fangs up, thanks to the help and the drive by my wonderful bb, Bryana! (It was also one of her birthday presents from me :D) Metamorphosis is up on Twilighted now! Might be getting up a short poem (dark NaruHina inspired by Flyleaf's Beautiful Bride) later, check it out when it comes. CHANGED MEH PENNAME. You were all so in love with Midnight Essence, I just went ahead and changed it. :) Though, I am thinking about the name Prelude To Madness. It just sounds so awesome... The Howling Wolf Awards, people! I have tricked it out. I made a banner for it on Photoshop, changed the template to match it, and have added music to almost every page. Nominations start December 19th. Check out Homicidal Essence, we should have a crack fic called New Moon: Abridged up sometime today. Then we start on our Naruto collab, which involves a little piece of me and Bryana's connections with each other, and A LOT of planning. Like, geez. break Well, lots o' news, now! First of all, I've been incredibly busy and have had to do so much stuff that it's insane. Please excuse my recent...disappearance to wherever the hell I was. But I've gotten the prologue to another story up, which will be abbreviated as WSIBNIS (wi-syb-nis), and the next chapter will be up soon. But I have to post more for Not All Bats Have Fangs first, because it's Bryana's favorite and she's helped me so much... Metamorphosis was finally updated! Hurrah! After a month, I have finally shook myself out of the KH muse. It's probably because I finally defeated Xemnas and ended the game, so now that it's over my KH muse is somewhat gone. However, when more information about Birth By Sleep and The Keyblade Wars — otherwise known as KH3 — comes out, I'm sure I scrounge up a poem or two. ;) I was very tempted to call the latest chapter"The Annoying Right Before The Awesome" but I didn't. Instead, I called it the Prelude To Madness which is the most epic name I have ever thought of for a chapter. I'm totally using that from now on. I finally got the scanner working for my computer! Woo! All Ihad to do was download a driver...but apparently, I can't do that because I'm incompetent. shrugs No idea. Anyhow, now I have real art on my DA worth looking at. Sort of. I still like my Aphrodite... I had written another KH poem, as I'm sure you're aware of now. It's a Naminé-based poem, that was just a little random, but she's one of my favorites. looks at Larxene tab on the KH wiki ...OMG. IT'S INSPIRATION. I may just be writing another poem — this time, about Larxene! x3 break I have a very important poll up now, about if I should change my name to Midnight Essence. I love the word essence now, and I've always loved midnight, and there's the possibility I'm going to be changing DA accounts so I can have my name be midnightessence. (If you didn't know I had a DA before, go look at my website.) Most of the pictures suck, but my mom's scanning some pictures for me, so I should be getting them up tomorrow. Until then, I'm stuck with a small, crappy tablet and a tablet pen that doesn't work. I'm waiting for a new one this Christmas — or, at least a new pen. I'm a little busier than usual, because I had an orchestra performance last night (Wednesday, October 21st) and I was supposed to take a Honors test for High School this Saturday, but my uncle just recently died, and his "Celebration of Life" — he'd kick all our asses if we had a funeral — is this Saturday up in Flagg (about an hour away) so I guess I'm gonna have to wait. Finished City of Stone and City of Ash in the Mortal Instruments series and they were epic. If you have not read them, go do it now. And I mean right now. Seriously. I got Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories a while ago, and I'm doing KH2 first, because card gameplay is confusing. To me, anyway. And I keep accidently using heals and potions... Meh. I'm fighting Xaldin next, I believe. Roxas is still way awesome-r. Speaking of Kingdom Hearts, I had this random inspiration from reading the KH Wiki, and even though I haven't played KH: 358/2 Days, I read up intensely on Xion, and made a little poem about it. Besides me scouring about for Kingdom Hearts, I randomly thought of Castle Oblivion, and I started to get this little theme in my mind (it was originally a poem line, but I can't remember it anymore) and so I wrote it down. I hadn't intended for it to be Kingdom Hearts related, but it sorta just turned up. One of my favorite things about it was using italics for speaking instead of quotation marks. It adds a little entity to it, don'tcha think? Anyhow, it mainly features Xion and Naminé, so I put those as the main characters. I don't write yuri, and I don't plan to. No offense to those that do, but that's just not my style. I'm also considering continuing my InuYasha fanfiction from the little, 400 words that it has had since I started it last year. I'm suddenly in an InuYasha mood and have been reading I/K and R/S fics for no apparent reason. Oh, well. I must feed my muse! break So I started the 8th chapter of Metamorphosis, and I have maybe about 1000 words for it so far. I would probably have written more, but I kind of have inspiration for something else. Yeah, I got inspiration for an original story, that's actually been going really well. I got inspiration about late last night, and I still have inspiration for it — it's about 9:30PM while I'm writing — and I'm already on the second chapter. I have it pretty much planned out with a rough outline in my head, and I'm sorta just working out all the kinks in it as I type. I haven't really discovered a solid foundation to planning yet. Truthfully, I've never really liked to plan, so I probably won't ever, except for a outline inside my head and a note or something on things that I will probably have a hard time remembering. The thing I love most about it though are the names. The narrators name is 16-year-old girl name Elysibeth, but it's pronounced Elizabeth. All the names in the story are like that: normal names just spelt hella weird. I'm so excited. :) If you're interested in reading the prologue to first chapter, either send me a PM with your email in it or email me at my Gmail in my contacts section. Feel free; I don't bite nice people. ;P I've also been really busy. I'm getting into prepping myself for competitions so I'll be working super hard on that, because if I don't, whats the point of trying? I've got school and they're just piling on the homework this year, even though I'm currently on Fall Break. But even so, I have a 27 page of Accumulative Review for Algebra, and I've been switching between doing that, reading, writing, and talking to my friends. I had an honors orchestra performance last Friday (October 9th) for the entire Tempe School District — and my teachers just happened to be in the row I was by, oh gosh — and I had to get up at 5 for that, and I felt especially crappy that day. I'm actually still feeling kind of crappy, but definitely not as bad as Friday. Why, you ask? I got the freaking flu, that's why. Not the swine flu, I assure, just the regular flu. And it really sucked, especially since I usually don't get any kind of sick, and I had a friend over. Poor hun. She was so sweet, just taking care of me and waking me up to take my temperature every hour or so. She got me anything when I asked for it, and she's my math tutor, too. She's definitely my mom's favorite out of my friends, that's for sure. I recently purchashed the three Mortal Instruments books by Cassandra Clare (City of Bones, City of Ash, and City of Glass). I'm only about a hundred pages into City of Bones — Clary and Jace are talking with Madame Dorothea — and so far I think it's pretty good. The beginning at Pandemonium pulls you in with the confusion with "the blue-haired boy" and the bouncer. After it breaks and you get the real perspective — well, as much of a perspective as you can get in 3rd person — of the blue-haired boy, and brings in some more questions, and answers some others. What's with the importance of all this vitality? What in the hell is Glamour? (Did you all get a Hell Boy 2 flashback like I did?) So it's a real blade? What, is the girl in the white dress trying to seduce him? And so on. I was a little confused with the whole tattoo thing at first — even though, well, you're supposed to be a little confused in the beginning — and started making a connection with the boy on the cover, because he has all the runes just like Isabelle. (The cover-boy is Jace, right? I hope he's actually the cover-boy for City of Glass.) The fight scene and banter were very well-written, and the start of chapter two wittily explained Clary's home life and her mothers profession and how she lived. Chapter 3 was probably my favorite out of what I've read so far, with the horrible poetry of Eric, a cute almost-trying-confession of Simon to Clary — who just doesn't seem to get it — and a thrilling, last-goodbye kind of call from Clary's mother. The fight scene between the Ravener and Clary was amazing and intense; the greatest fight scene I've read so far. I love Hodge, he's super cute and funny in a Dumbledore sort of remembrance. Alec kind of creeps me out, and I'm continuously imagining Alec from Twilight even though I know they're completely and entirely different, but when two people have the same name, it's how I think. I'm still wondering what the deal is with Valentine, but I imagine that we will find out very soon. I also got to read the 6th installment in the Vampire Kisses series — Royal Blood. I want to say hands down that so far, this is my favorite book in the entire series. It was so much different than any book Schreiber has written for VK so far. I was starting to get tired of hearing "Jagger this" and "Maxwell that" throughout the books, so when I found out this book was about Alexanders parents coming to Dullsville, I was thrilled. It was an incredibly unexpected twist, that I don't think anyone expected. This installment was definitely more about Raven and Alexander's relationship — as well as the paternal relationship between Alexander, Raven, Cassandra and Constantine. It was so cute to see Alexander so worried about Raven seeing his parents, and I absolutely adored Cassandra. One of my favorite lines of her was towards the end of the book, when Mr. & Mrs. Sterling were leaving, and Raven asked Cassandra where her parasol went because it was raining. And then Cassandra smiles at her, at wittingly replies, "Who needs an umbrella in the rain?" The art auction was a brilliant solution to the main problem of the book, and the ending to it was perfect. They ending up keeping the Mansion with the Sterlings', and Cassandra and Constantine finally understood that Alexander's future was in Dullsville, with Raven, and not in Romania with some vampire monarch. The book had both the perfect amount of comedy, thrill, the "OMG-what's-going-to-happen?" feeling, family touch, romantic touch, and wrapped together in a beautiful illustration of words. I'm also going to be getting Kingdom Hearts II — I had a copy before but I didn't take too good care of it because I was little when I got it — and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories soon, and Amazon says they should be here either the 19th or 20th, which is awesome. I miss KH2 and I've been dying to play Chain of Memories, after all the good things I hear from it. I would have preferred to play Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days more though, but it's only available for DS, and the only gaming console I have is a PS2, so I was sorta out of luck there. My friend from a honor orchestra program is a KH nerd, too, and she's actually designing a keyblade for me! We named it Essence and it's keychain is a teardrop. I totally would have talked to her already, but the day she gave me her email, we had no paper/pencil, and that was the day I was diagnosed with the flu, so I was sorta out of it and can't remember. I have to wait until the 27th, I believe, to talk to her again and get the email. I'm gonna be smart and bring a pencil and paper. I learn from my mistakes. Yeah, so that's your daily touch of Midnight for the day, as well as a few book reviews, just 'cause I was reading. Sorry if I spoiled anything for you, but then again, you should have skipped if you haven't read them yet. ;) I'll try to come up with a chapter soon, I promise, but school really, really, really bites, — especially Algebra) and I think you all know my pain. Anyhow, signing off for the night to go read some more Mortal Instruments, and write, if I get the inspiration. break Well, I got the 7th chapter of Metamorphosis out, finally. Some people didn't agree with me on that certain chapter, and I'm sorry, but I wrote what was needed to be written. I needed the heart-wrenching angst, and the fluff. (Which Bry and I like to refer to as "The Sexy Kiss" even though it wasn't really that sexy.) So, we got a total of zero nominations for The Howling Wolf Awards. I mean, like, seriously? Bleh. I found pocky at the store today. Then I had a bitch fit when my two best friends — who, like me, love anime — didn't know what pocky is. But now I'm wishing I got the strawberry pocky. I don't do dark chocolate. I also found out I'm in love with a new band. As you can see, Hey Monday now takes up my lyrics at the bottom of the page. I found it on my Genius recommendations, and when I went to go download some, I saw that one of their song names is Arizona. Ironic much? 'Cause, you know, I live in Phoenix. I'm already beginning to start on Chapter 8 of Metamorphosis for you guys! It might take a while though, because me and my skating coach are going into the early stages of competition training, I have an Honors Orchestra performance, parent-teacher conferences, report cards, Algebra grade anxiety, then a celebration sleepover after all that hard work and on top of all that, I've been in a Kingdom Hearts mood. So yessssss. Busy, busy, busy week. break I'm having an epic moment. I'd just like to point that out. Why, you ask? Well, first of all, I just got my brand new iPod Nano I've been wanting for ages today. I squealed when I got home and saw it lying on my desk. I immediately synced it and listened and played with it on my way to my skating lesson. Then I had a great time at the lesson and got something that I've been sucking at down perfectly. I had also pre-ordered Brand New Eyes yesterday — and, as you all know, Paramore is my favorite band ever — and was expecting it to come out tomorrow. Uh, no. I'm listening to it as I type. And I had spent the weekend at a friend's house, and she had moved, like, an hour away from me recently and I hadn't seen her in forever. My boyfriend is being incredibly sweet lately, just like I love him. So, as you can see, I'm having a good week. The Razzle Dazzle Awards are also starting nominations October 1st, so make sure to go nominate! I'm judging for Best Angst, too! :D I'm so excited! And, you know, The Howling Wolf Award nominations have been open for a while... Anyone wanna go and nominate? Please? We haven't gotten any yet... break I. HATE. WEBS. So, I was looking over some Twilight fanfiction award sites — looking forward to nominations opening for the Eddies & Bellies soon — and I had this idea that I really wanted to do an award site myself. So I told Bryana. She thought it was an awesome idea, and that we should co-host it together. She suggested to me a site that does free web-hosting. (webs.com) So I went there, I put in our domain name, we figured out our name, and I had even gotten the entire nominations page done. So I moved on to the voting page. That's when things started to get annoying. So it took forever to load, so I refreshed. And refreshed. And refreshed. AND REFRESHED. You can see where this is going, right? Yeah. So I backtracked, copied and pasted all of my nominations into a safe doc of mine (which I just found out didn't save. D:), and restarted my computer, thinking that was the problem. No, Webs is simply imcompetent. Or the servers down. Whatever. Either way, it annoys me. 'Cause I was totally ready to finish it. I can't even log in. But I'm going to check back tomorrow to see if the servers up again or it's working or something. Hopefully, it is. Once I get it up — if I ever can — I'll link it somewhere. And, if you're curious, it's called The Howling Wolf Awards. It has about 15 awards (I have to think of them all again because my copy-paste didn't fucking save) and I wrote so much for it and now it's gone so I wanna cry! Just kill me. KILL ME NOW. Also, I'm now a judge for the Razzle Dazzle Awards. Go me! x3 EDIT: Correction, Webs' server was down, and it saved everything I wrote! :) So now, The Howling Wolf Awards is born. We'll be posting up Nomination dates soon, as soon as I get in touch with Bryana. I am so excited it's unbelievable. Unbelievable, I tell you! As well as finally updating Metamorphosis, while re-watching one of my favorite animes, Blood Plus, I got some sudden Saya/Haji inspiration and wrote a short, little ficlet. Read it if you like Blood Plus, please! It takes place somewhere around Episode 7, in a peaceful little interlude I made up myself. :) break Hello to all! Yes, I have a couple new updates I wish to share with you all! I just love ya'll so much. x3 Well, I finally finished my part of the collab between me and Bry, and now it's up and published! It's name is Vagary, just to refresh your memory. Also, yes, I am planning to start up a chapter for another one of my other Twifics again. Patience, my dearies. I have already started writing Metamorphosis: Interlude 3, Part Trois, so hopefully, I can have that up in at least a week or so. I'm getting simply bombed with homework though, so the only time I can ever write is on the weekends. Also, I might not be able to write anymore this week, because earlier today (September 11, 2009) I got my flu shot in my right arm, and the first Gardasil vaccine in the other arm. That stung like a bitch, I'll tell you. So my arm hurts like hell, and it also is making me feel super tired, nauceous, and dizzy. Apologies if I can't get anything done in this weekend. But, on the bright side, I'm finally getting my braces off Monday! :D God, I've had these things on for two years! I'm so happy to get them off! I'm so having a sunflower seed spree. Let's see... I think I made another pin, entitled "Cirque De Embarrasment" which is pretty simple, but you can go check it out if you'd like. :) EDIT: Yeah, um, since Vagary isn't being kind to neither Bry nor myself, we've decided to take it down and put it up on our brand new joint account, Homicidal Freesia. Yeah, we originally planned to call it Midnight Whispers — that sounds so much fucking cooler — but fanfiction is being a jerkface to us. So, yeah. We're gonna see if we can try to change it in a couple days. And yes, I did change my picture as well, if you can see the change yet. I was getting kind of tired of the old one, so I changed my picture. It was actually the picture we were going to put for Homicidal Freesia, but then we found one so much cooler, it's beyond belief. You will see in a day or so if you check out HF. (Stupid fanfiction and their stupid rules...) So we will be deleting Vagary off both of our profiles, and putting it up of HF instead, when we can. (And the day we do, which is the 14th, I get my braces off! Yay!) So yes, to my Vagary readers — the few of your there are, sadly — be watching HF. (I will link it later.) We'll have it up by the time either Bry or I get home on the 14th. (And, I'd just like to note: The Hush Sound is my second favorite all-time band. I'm even naming a werewolf novel I'm working on after it. That's how much I fucking love them. Plus, the name You Are The Moon in a werewolf novel? It works.) break See? I'm still alive! Haha, sorry for all the disappearances lately, but I'm in school now (blegh), and I don't really have an inspiration for my stories, besides Timeless, which is the reason why I'm updating. ;p Yeah, so Timeless is a one-shot request story that I've been meaning to post up for a while. I meant it to start with a NaruHina — my favorite pairing — but I started it with this heart-wrenchingly depressing LeeSaku... Should I be worried that I wrote that in an hour so easily? I got the inspiration while talking to my very good friend, Homicidal Whispers, about the outline of one of her future stories with her, and it just popped up, and I wrote it. So, again, kudo's to her. She's awesome. break Okay, um...don't kill me! I swear! I didn't mean to not update for more than a month! My Metamorphosis readers: I will have the second part of the third Interlude done soon! I swear to you all. So far I have about 5000 words, 8 pages, and they just got to the Cullen's house. Trust me — the wait will be worth it...I hope. But it will definitely have a lot of important Bella thoughts! But you can blame the damn plot bunny that has been so faithful to you before. The little booger is stuck in Naruto-drive, which is why I have about 2k words for this random as hell ItaSaku I started. (But, I'm writing it all out first, so if I loose inspiration, it can just be like 'Oh, well.') I'm also starting school this Tuesday (August 11) so I won't be as lazy anymore. Like I did before, I can just cram writing into every weekend, waiting for anime night to start. (I heart Uqwee!) My birthday passed a few weeks ago, and even though I'm being a lazy procrastinator, when I update Metamorphosis can I get reviews as presents? That would just rock my world, I tell you. I already got half the money I need for my iPod Nano and new school clothes, so reviews would just be the icing on the cake! I've put Roses & Summer Days on hold, sadly, because my friend and I are working on a collaboration together, that should be up soon, when I finish my part. It's this really awesome theory Bryana — otherwise now known as Homicidal Whispers — came up with. She shared it with me one night on Skype, I thought it would make a great story, and it just grew from there. We already have up until the second chapter outlined! It's really kind of sad, but incredibly sweet at the same time. It's Rosalie-centric, Vampires, and incredibly AU. I can not stress the emphasis on incredibly enough. Because seriously, it's insane. Awesomeness on a cone, but insane. Then again, that's probably why we're writing it. :P Because she is the Shaunee to my Erin, I do not lie. I am officially closing my poll! Thanks so much to everyone that voted! In first place is, of course, Metamorphosis, with 17 votes! Second place was Topaz with nine votes, and 3rd was Roses & Summer Days with 2 votes! Again, thanks to everyone that voted, and I will have another poll up soon! Let's see...anything else I should write about... No, I think that's it. Anyway, I will try to update...something as soon as I can! But most likely either Metamorphosis, Vagary (that's the collab, and before you think like a 13-year old boy about the name, look up the definition. It's name is it's name for a reason.), or Topaz. break Well, my kiddies, I have a new present to you all! I have now started my own line of...wait for it...pins. You know, like Zazzle pins! I know, right? I can just feel your excitement! So, if you would all just check out my Zazzle and view the pins! If you can, I would appreciate some buyage, you know... advertisement. Or at least some votes and comments. :) Let's see... What other news... Oh, I'm currently in the middle of writing Metamorphosis — Interlude III: Part Duex because I just had to write it. Seriously. I was feeling so indefinitely inspired by this, I wrote up until like 6 in the morning one day. I ended up writing like 3 pages of Bella's thoughts... Then, the thing that killed the inspiration — when I downloaded Photoshop Demo, I got a whole bunch of new fonts. The one I used to write the chapter — Adobe Garamond Pro — apparently, does not allow me to quote properly. Yeah, just — don't ask. It was a pain in the ass. Still is, too. Sad part is I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place — I have no inspiration for the other stories. D: It really freaking sucks. I tried to write the new chapter of Not All Bats Have Fangs — the one I was supposed to update — but it just didn't flow the way I wanted it to. But good news for Metamorphosis — my ever-so-loyal reviewer/friend NaruHinaxNejiTen is nice enough to beta that chapter for me, just to catch any mistakes I missed! (Yeah, you go and check out her stories! I beta her and she is win!) On other news... Currently, I'm having a major Favorites clean-out. Yeah, I mean check it out — I'm only at the I's and it's already down by a lot! (I finally figured out it wasn't normal to have like 500 favorites, lol.) I also edited the C2 I have that was complete fail before. Now it's the place where the epitome of awesome fanfictions are put. Me and my fanfiction buddies are working on getting that all buffed up and shiny for ya'll. Also, I recently found something very interesting, and I was hooked the moment I heard it. It's a Twilight fanfiction blog/podcast called Temptation and they just rock. Seriously, they do. They talk about different Twilight fanfictions, and I definitely am very tempted to forget all about my work and read what they have mentioned. That's how awesome it is. (I have not had the honor of being mentioned on the podcast, but a girl can only hope.) I sort of got inspired to try to start my own podcast, but I sadly cannot do it yet until one of my friends — Quantum.Muffin — gets back from Ukraine, where she usually goes to visit her family every summer. I will definitely have Bryana in it, because she is all that and a bag of skittles. Seriously — she continuously mentions me as one of her favorite authors and is definitely one of my best ego-boosters and friends. You should also seriously check this out. It is the most hilarious story I have read where the story is actually making fun of Twilight. And I say this, as the biggest Twilight fan in the history of forever. I definitely recommend this to everyone and hope that you review on this. Because it is fucking hilarious, and everyone should be able to enjoy the sarcasm and dry humor laced into it. Love it. Also, because I just had to say this: I can't wait for Brand New Eyes. I'm rocking my head out to Ignorance as we speak — read, type, whatever; you get the point — and can only pray I get to go the concert. EDIT: Okay, screw waiting 'till Quantum gets back from Ukraine. We ended up getting to talking in a late night Skype conversation — yeah, it was about 1:30 over here when it started, lol — and I figured out how to record... AND WE DID IT. Praise the Lord, as Olive would say. So, here it is! I have to say I'm very proud! We didn't know how to edit though, so... That was the crappy. And we sound like dorks for the most of it. Yeah, we still need to get into the whole character thing. Plus since I couldn't edit it, there were a bunch more moments where we were totally off-topic, which was why I named it "Our ADD Got The Best Of Us." Because really... break Yay! I finally updated! I just have to get Roses & Summer Days and I'll have been a good little author and updated all my stories. I finally broke my writers block for Metamorphosis, so expect new chapters soon! :D Thank you to those that have voted on my poll! Write now, Metamorphosis is in first place, while Topaz is in second place. :D Please keep voting, ya'll! I love my reviewers, right now. They make me feel as if my stories are as popular to the point of where they are equal to Annilaia, NessLupin, Bronzehairedgirl620 or, even, the lovely maravelous. (You would only get the last one if you liked Naruto, as well. But her stories are epic.) Thank you! :) I was very pleasantly surprised at the large jump in reviews for the second chapter of Topaz. There was about 7 reviews for the first chapter, then like 15 for the second. :D It made me very happy. :) Hopefully, someone actually reads this page, so I don't feel like I'm just babbling to no one, lol. Added a few contacts, and added that I beta'd the ever-so-lovely NaruHinaxNejiTen. Read her stories! I command you to! :) Anybody mad about the fact that Danzo is suddenly the 6th Hokage in the newest Naruto chapter? I sure am. ¬¬ Naruto deserved that title—he defeated Nagato without even fighting him. And, of course, there is going to be another uber-long, retard saga about Sasuke coming back, and...ugh. It makes me so sick I can't even talk about it. Has anyone heard about the disconinuation of the beloved story, Not All Bats Have Fangs? Well, I did—I loved that story to death—so I asked the author if she would mind if I took it in. :) I would remake it, add in my own twists, just because I feel that it is too good not to be continued to the end. :D Hopefully, I'll get it, and hopefully, you'll all read it. ;D By the way: in need of a French translator. Roses and Summer Days will be having many quotes from famous, old-timey books in...you guessed it, FRENCH. My dashboard widget for translating is being unreliable, and I'm not too sure about those internet translations. So, I would like a human translator, please! If your interested just PM/email me, and the only conditions are: you need to be fairly good at speaking French. Yeah. That's it. It's even cooler if French is your native language, by the way. For instance: if you took French in high school for four years, you're good to go. ;D contact me Yahoo: mvsz96. Gmail: hinatahyugamz1. Gaia: Hinata_Hyuga_mz93. DA: Hina-chan20. Good is subjective. If you don't believe me, look it up. You are blessed when you're content with just who you are no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourself the proud owner of everything that can not be bought. Move on, it's just a chapter in the past. But don't close the book, just turn the page. Imperfection is beauty, nonsense is passion, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams. We were given two hand to hold, two legs to walk, to eyes to see, but why not two hearts to live? Because the other was given to someone else for you to find. Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans. Though love knows no boundaries, time restricts like no others. So, when time restricts your love—forget it and live on. In order to be irreplacable one must always be different. I said I gotta be honest: I've been waiting for you all my life. For so long I thought I though I was asylum-bound, but seeing you makes me think twice. To be with you here makes me sing with fear. I'll freak out if you leave my sight. You got wits, you got looks, you've got passion, but are you brave enough to leave with me tonight? I wanted to change the world. But, I have found that the only change one can be sure of is changing one's self. They say every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and once you put something in motion, it can't help but build up to a momentum. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. If you're going to doubt something, doubt your limits. Be the change you wish to see in the world. They say the captain goes down with the ship, so when the world ends, will God go down with it? I climb, I slip, I fall, reaching for your hands, but I lay here all alone, sweating all your blood. If I could find out how, to make you listen now because I'm starving for you here. You're the direction I follow, | |||||||||
