My Name's Taylor and live in Australia.

First and foremost; I'm an artist. Music is my art and my life. I am an individual person who is not afraid of being who I am. I'm one of those people that no matter how old they get, will still have posters all over their room, or those treasured toys still sitting on the bed ready for a cuddle. People have tried to change me and I know it's not worth it. I am Me!

After finally completing my final year of High School, I am now currently studing a Bachelor of Arts: Professional and Creative Writing at University; minoring in Film Studies, Literature and Drama. Despite all this, I am still a total kid at heart. I have an obsession with scarves and hats/beanies. I collect programmes from every single show I have been to since I was about three years old. I love Photography and am rarely seen without a camera in my hands to capture the moment. Of course, I'm a teenager, meaning i love hanging out with my gorgeous friends and sleeping in late in the mornings/afternoons.

I am completely OBSESSED with All kinds of Movies and Books. Books to me are like an escape from reality. Sometime you cant help but want to leave the harsh reality of the world and read a book, let it take you anywhere you want to go and be anyone you want to be. The same goes for movies.

Writing is obviously one of my many passions in life. I love to write stories, songs and poetry.

Music is basically one of the most important things in my life, aside from my family and friends and those closest to me. Musical theatre has been apart of my life since I was a toddler, with my mother being on the stage from a young age. I have been performing since i was about 3 years old; singing and dancing my way through life lol. My main dream in life is to perform on stage...hopefully on Broadway.

There are so many people who inspire me. Actors, Singers, Leaders...there are a lot. But none can compare to my family. I am the fourth generation of very strong women. My mother, grandmother and great-grandmother [nana] have always been there for me and have always taught me to live my life the way I want and to the fullest. I would be nowhere without any of them.

Films

I love movies. The way they portray a story into a realistic and visual sense; often so beautifully is truly astounding. I love all kinds of films; almost every kind of genre. The classics of 'old Hollywood' are dear to my heart; stories that have withheld the ages and are still beloved in this day and age. But also genres such as romance, comedy and, in all honesty…nothing beats a good horror movie.

For me, a good movie must have a few key elements; a good, withstanding plot that flows (preferably more often than not), and will keep audiences entertained; a cast that has the ability to draw the audience in and make them believe that they are who they claim to be; music is always a plus as well as an ending that successfully either ties up loose ends and fulfills the audience's expectations, or leaves them hanging in the right way.

Books

Like for many people, books are a way for me to escape the hassles of the real world. Ever since I can remember, I have always found solace and enjoyment out of a good book; allowing myself to be lost in the pages and feel like I belong in that world; be it Narnia, Hogwarts, Middle Earth, or solving a mystery with Poirot or Miss Marple. My love of reading is a trait I share with my dad (the man who told me the plots of Star Wars as bedtime stories long ago). Whether it was him reading to me at night, me reading to him outside on a warm summer afternoon, or us in a heated argument about who got to read the latest Harry Potter book first, books have always brought us together, and for that I am eternally grateful.

I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird, and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cellphone or regular phone. I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain.

But I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn't care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who loves and is obsessed with Harry Potter, who can express herself better with words than with words, and knows the importance of the little things.
