Welcome to my page! Allow me to tell you more about myself. Well, I am a student, though that shouldn't tell you much, as I will probably forever consider myself a student. I am, for better or worse (probably worse) hooked onto several different anime/manga, and have been on this site for quite a few years and have read countless stories, some that blew me away and others that I wished I hadn't started. I especially enjoy reading fanfictions that deviate from the norm and require me to not just read the words but think about them and feel over them. Every once in a while you come across a writer that will produce a story so riveting that you can't help but wait impateintly for their next update. These are the writers that keep me here, as they allow me to find exactly what I was looking for in a story even if I had no way of knowing myself what it was I was searching for. I find it really interesting how stories, which are really only words, can somehow have so much life in them that you can't help but invest emotionally in them; feeling for the characters and taking their journies with them. Writers of such stories are truly remarkable, and I have great respect for those with such a skill.

I have started writing a few stories myself, though I'm more a fan of reading than writing. They are more just an outlet for myself, though I'm more than glad to share them with anyone interested, so check it out if it pleases you : ) I suppose though, you will notice that I've only posted stories related to the anime Naruto. I guess that's because it's my favorite anime and also the one that brought me to this site. Another thing about fanfiction that I might as well add is that I normally only go for romance stories, unless I stumble upon a non-romance that is just absolutely fantastic. My favorite pairing would have to be Itachi and Sakura, though I'm really fine with most pairings as long as it's written well enough that I can believe it. For me, I find that forbidden love type stories are the most interesting, as both parties fight their feelings and somehow conquer the obstacles around them.

Another thing I've noticed about myself is that I tend to go for stories with a strong female character, perhaps it's because I can identify more with them. Let's see, so the character I read the most about is Sakura. She's a great character to write about I suppose, since you can mold her into anyone you want, if you do it right. Or maybe it's just that I've read so many stories about her from all sorts on angles that I'm never bored with her. Either way, I find that Kagome from InuYasha is the same, they both have so much potential and room to grow that it makes the writer's job easier I suppose.

Itachi and Sesshoumaru are probably two of the most interesting characters to read about, given their personalities. I find that the best stories use their actions to convey their feelings rather then words, which I think is the best approach. In this way, anything they do say to their intended has much more meaning and weight to it.

Anyway, I don't have much left to say except that I love reading because it helps me escape, allows me to worry over something other than my own life, and I'm grateful for the respite it gives me. I'm not much of a writer, I've always been more of a science person, but reading is certainly something that I can never part with.
