Author has written 2 stories for Artemis Fowl.

I was kind of nervous about what I should put up here because I didn't know what I should write here. In the end, I just thought of a few questions I would ask one of you and wrote down the answers. As you can see, I got carried away with that.

What are your likes/dislikes? I like a lot of things. I like, no, LOVE to read and write. If I knew I was going to die in a few hours, I would probably try to finish that last page in my short story or finish reading that last chapter in my book. I also like the popular books, Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, Twilight by Stephanie Meyer and Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. The lesser known but still equal in value authors I like(I say authors instead of books because these authors are responsible for writing more than one series of delicious books) are Tamora Pierce, Diana Wynne Jones (I especially liked Howl's Moving Castle) and Holly Black(I liked Valiant the most).

I also like manga and anime. Manga that I like include; Fruit Basket, Full Metal Alchemist, Monster and Guru Guru Ponta-san. Anime I like include; Naurto, Death Note and Inuyasha. I like Gothic styled writing, probably because, unlike your basic full-on horror novel which is just a gratuitous gorefest, you have covert tactical action going on and there's always a reason behind the blood and gore. Not just some psycho back from the dead and killing the people in the neighborhood because he's PMSing.

I listen to Three Days Grace, My Chemical Romance, Skillet and Korn. My friend defines me as the the 'alternative rocker' because I don't go in for all that drumming and heavy guitar playing in Nine Inch Nails and other groups like that. Besides English class, I like my Environmental Science and U.S. History class as well.

Thankfully I have very few dislikes. I HATE Math class. It's confusing with their x's and their y's and their find out the standard deviation of so and so numbers. Ugh! Who cares what the standard deviation is? What am I going to use it for?! I 'dislike' close-minded people who can't look at things from a different perspective. It has to be their way or the highway. I 'dislike' the entire dairy section of the food pyramid. Eggs, milk, yogurt and cheese (not cheddar cheese though; I can tolerate cheddar cheese) are disgusting to me if they're not baked into a cake mixed into ice cream form or something like that.

How old are you? 12/13/91 I'll let you do the math.

Can you describe your writing style? Okay, let's see...Well, I always like to throw in a little bit of psychology andd symbolism into my stories. Psychology because it adds more of a realistic edge to my writing and I like to use symbolism because I want my story to be more than just a story. I want my stories to have meaning. I prefer dialouge because it's easier to write rather than describing what's happening in the scene, the scenery, the people...describing things and people can be my weak points. But I'm working on it.

In my writing you'll note that I almost always have a female OC(I Googled that meaning; I feel so proud).

What are you like? I'm an oddball. No, seriously, I am. Sure I have friends but I don't really relate to them all that well. They listen to hip-hop, I listen to alt. rock. They watch One on One, I watch Naruto. They like boys, I don't find them as interesting (no, I'm not gay, just don't see a lot going on over there). I like to read on my Saturdays, they like to watch movies. I'm also weird in that I'm always on this different wavelength. Someone could be talking about A and I could be thinking that they're talking about B.

I'm always in my own little world and staring off into space, daydreaming about this and that. Sometimes it's lonely having no one to talk to (I have one REALLY close friend but lately, I feel that we're drifting apart and we don't relate as much as we used to). Actually, not just sometimes, ALL THE TIME. Which is why I often dream of living in absolute solitude in an isolated forest somewhere far away from civilization. I hate the strain of having to explain myself constantly. Maybe it's just the people I hang out with. I need a new crowd...

What do you want to be when you grow up? I've heard that question so many times in my life that it's ridiculous. It's an ice breaker that we use when we've just met someone in school. It's the question most adults ask us when there's an awkward silence and they just want you to say something. Anything. At first I wanted to be a firefighter because I figured they didn't do a lot of math. But then I learned that I couldn't escape math because it lay in waiting everywhere and I heard the fighting fires was hazardous. So I decided I wanted to be a potter. But then one time I tried to make a cup, I came up with a saucer with a little handle on one side and decided that pottery wasn't the best thing for me. In fifth grade, I scored the highest on my reading exam than all the students in my class and that was when I decided, 'I'm going to be a writer'. I've been writing ever since the sixth grade.

I figure that I'll be a freelancer or probably work with big time companies like Penguin and Del Rey. I'll decide whether or not to let certain books be published or not.

Why did I pick the penname 'tomeofenigmas'? There's not a lot of cryptic meaning behind my name. It's just that I spent a lot of time brooding on the fact that everyone else had this witty name and I didn't want to be the oddball by putting up something uniform as my penname. If I had to attach some sort of meaning to my name I would say that it's basically a summary of who I am. I am this large book(since I have this affinity with books I guess I can be compared to a book) of puzzling, ambiguous text(since I'm such a complex person and I'm hard to understand).

I will totally write more when the urge to do so arises again or I come up with more questions I think I should answer. Feel free to message me. I would love to talk to another writer/reader.

There's a 13 year old girl, and she wished
that her dad would come home from
the army, because he'd been having
problems with his heart and right
leg. It was 2:53 p.m . When she made
her wish. At 3:07 p.m. (14 minutes
later), the doorbell rang, and
there her Dad was, luggage and all!!

I'm Katie and I'm 20 and I've been
having trouble in my job and on the
verge of quitting. I made a simple
wish that my boss would get a new
job. That was at 1:35 and at 1:55
there was an announcement that he
was promoted and was leaving for
another city. Believe me...this
really works!

My name is Ann and I am 45 years
of age. I had always been single
and had been hoping to get into a
nice, loving relationship for many
years. While kind of daydreaming
(and right after receiving this email)
I wished that a quality person would
finally come into my life. That was at
9:10 AM on a Tuesday. At 9:55 AM
a FedEx delivery man came into my
office.He was cute, polite and
could not stop smiling at me. He
started coming back almost everyday
(even without packages) and asked me
out a week later. We married 6
months later and now have been
happily married for 2 years.

What a great email it was!!

Just scroll down to the end, but
while you do, think of a wish.
Make your wish when you have completed
scrolling. Whatever age you are, is the
number of minutes it will take for your
wish to come true. ex.you are 25 years
old, it will take 25 minutes for your wish
to come true).

Go for it!

SCROLL DOWN!

STOP!

Congratulations! Your wish will
now come true in your age minutes.

Now follow this carefully...it
can be very rewarding!

If you repost this within the next 5 min.
something major that you've been wanting
will happen.

This is scary!

The phone will ring right after you repost
