Well, what to say?

About me.

I'm 23, female, and I'm finally a fully qualified historian/archaeologist! Woohoo!

I enjoy reading and writing, of course, especially Tolkien, though other fantasy writers such as Tamora Pierce and Alison Croggon are excellent as well. Anything that captures my imagination, really. I like some historical fiction, but only if it's well written and accurate, otherwise I just lose the verisimilitude. I've recently read Graceling and Fire by Kristin Cashore, which are both very enjoyable despite being a little similar plotwise. I've also read Unseen Academicals by Terry Pratchett, which is very funny and will probably be the only football-themed novel I'll ever read!

My main fandoms are Final Fantasy (VII, X, X-2 and XII) and Kingdom Hearts. I've just bought Final Fantasy IX and Dissidia (you can equip Cloud with a blond wig!) as well so I guess we'll have to see how it goes. Although I do read other things I will probably not write for them, at least not right now.

Anything else? I'm abnormally small (well, 152 cm) and am sensitive about my height, sarcastic when I'm cross, and grumpy when I'm tired. I've recently discovered that I'm scared of heights whilst half-way up one of those indoor climbing walls. Good times. I love spending time with my family and friends. And, though I've put it last, I'm a Christian and it is the centre of my life.

My current WIP Waiting for Springtime will eventually be a Yuffentine, promise. I just wanted to write something when it was Yuffie who had to get over a broken heart. The Yuffentine-y goodness will begin shortly, I swear! I know I've been a terrible, terrible updater but I'll post the next chapter up very soon. Promise.

I also have a few more various ideas stewing around in my brain, including: more Yuffentines (of course), some Rufus/Yuffie (much to my own suprise), a Leon/Yuffie KH/FFVII crossover, some random Dissidia stuff, most probably Cloud/Terra, but I also have the totally mental idea of Exdeath/Cloud of Darkness (united in the desire to send all life to the Void and in having pretty stupid names) and, not least, the Basch/Penelo fic I keep telling people I am going to write. If only I had as much free time as I do ideas...
