Author has written 18 stories for Adventures of Sinbad, Harry Potter, and Red Dwarf. Hello there. So, what about me could be worth mentioning? Well, as surely you have already figured out I'm an Adventures of Sinbad fan. It's one of the first shows I ever watched on TV (well, at least if you don't count those cartoons every child enjoys). I loved the characters as well as the adventures they experienced ... and I so loved to see Sinbad and Maeve together. I've really been upset when the second season began and all those changes had been made. I didn't like how the atmosphere went from bright and happy to dark and gloomy and felt like the show had been pretty much bereft of its soul. However, now after all these years have passed I have come to re-watch S2 with a new curiosity and have to realize that things aren't quite as bad as I remember them. I still prefer S1 by far but quite honestly like certain aspects of S2, too - the favourite ones being Rongar's background story, the introduction of Mala and last but not least the relationship between Doubar and Bryn which could have been the foundation for so much more than just friendship IMO. Anyway, long story cut short: my attitude towards this show has never changed and I'm glad to see that there are still so many people out there who also care about it. Asides from the obvious I enjoy reading stories about various fantasy and sci-fi series/films - my latest obsession being Red Dwarf - and try to be a good reviewer when it comes to that one. And while we're talking about it: Concerning my writings: What you will mostly find among my works is character or mood studies. I just like to bring emotions across (or at least attempt the same) and enjoy the process of doing so. That also means, however, that most of my stories lack any real action and often enough dialogue, too. I try to improve on that but quite regularly feel myself getting drawn back to writing emotional one-shots. Well then, I guess there's just one last thing to mention: English is not my mother tongue. I really try to do my best with it but at the end of the day I'm still only human. So if you detect any mistakes in my stories please go easy on me. And now, enough with the introduction (kudos to you if you're still with me). I hope you enjoy reading my works. General disclaimer: (because I tend to forget adding one to my stories) Update 05/2013: This goes to all who are so patiently waiting for an update of "Rise of the Phoenix". I truly am beyond sorry you have to wait so long! I know that last month I told you I had hope to quickly overcome the block that had hit me, but truth is it only got worse afterwards. I haven't been able to write *anything* in the past few weeks. But. Some days ago I finally got the next three paragraphs done and I think I now know where to end the current chapter which before was on its way of turning into a beast. On the downside, the next couple of weeks will be pretty busy for me but still I hope to finish the chapter in May. I will certainly try my best to! Again thank you to all of you for sticking around! And a special shout-out to all my amazing readers who have always been so supportive. It is only thanks to you that I will all but give up on this story!
