Breaking Dawn is out - and I was as stunned as everyone else. After the second reading I was more comfortable with the story, though I really missed Edward - in Book 3 especially. I really wanted to see more bonding between Edward and his daughter, and this quick one-shot was born. Enjoy!

Brotherhood is my first co-writing project. I am so lucky to be working with the incredibly smart and marvelously funny LindaRoo on this story - and it has been a hilarious ride! Go hunting with the Cullen boys, and learn that yes, vampire boys will be vampire boys.

Totality: Spontaneous Combustion -

I've written a bit of Midnight Sun, which is twilight from Edward's point of view, and I started thinking about some scenes from new moon and eclipse from Edward's point of view. So as a place to post these few scenes I'm preparing two stories: Totality and Dark Side of the Moon. Originally all the stories were under one umbrella, Dark Side of the Moon, but when I started on the new moon stories, I found that there was more than just a few anecdotes for new moon in me. Right now I only plan to do a few scenes from eclipse and put them in Totality. It will be a collection of stories from Edward's point of view, and I will update it with new scenes as I write them, rather than publishing each short story separately.

The first installment is: Spontaneous Combustion - the bedroom scene from Chapter 8, "Temper" in eclipse in Edward's voice. Thanks to psymom and MarcyJ for great betas from two great authors.

Verbal Engagement -
This story started out as an extra to first light, but it seems to stand alone just fine. The story is the continuation of the last page in eclipse, when Edward put the ring on Bella's finger. Bella and Edward head off to tell Charlie and Renee about their plans... Another great beta by vnfan - go check out her work!

The Souvenir -
This is my first foray into writing to a given topic, rather than what just occurs to me. sillybella's President's Day challenge was to write about a Cullen rubbing elbows with someone real and famous (and dead). Since she stresses staying 'in canon' (true to SM's characters and the 'real' world) I found her challenge very appealing. Edward was still stuck in my brain, so I followed where he led me. I was surprised exactly where that was - as I hope you will be as well. And as for the 'real' part of the story, here are my sources for The Souvenir:

Phoenix Rising -
This is another Midnight Sun - like story, namely it parallels part of twilight from Edward's point of view. Phoenix Rising traces two chapters in twilight, 'Hide and Seek,' when Edward arrives in Phoenix to find Bella gone; and 'The Angel,' when Edward finds Bella after being bitten by James. Thanks to psymom, a fantastic author and beta.

Drastic Measures -
One of the popular discussions on the forums is about how Bella might be changed under dire circumstances, and how Jacob would be involved. So I started thinking what that might be like and came up with Drastic Measures. Rather than re-write a breaking dawn type scenario, though, I chose to explore this possibility in the form of an alternate ending to eclipse. Just one other possible way Bella gets bitten...

My first Midnight Sun-like one-shot is out. Thanks so much to heartbroken1 for my first beta experience - it definitely improved the piece!
I was asked if I would write a complete Midnight Sun, and alas the answer is no. I don't know Edward well enough in the first half of the book to hear his story - I'm really looking forward to the 'real' thing.

I didn't understand the beta process, or the 'post it slowly, get more reviews' technique - I was such a rookie! Sorry for the errors - someday I may revisit/rewrite it...
