1. Is their name in Japanese and/ or is it really long? Nope, made it up myself.

2. Does a canon character easily fall in love with them? Nope

3. Is everyone fond of them? Ha, ha...you're serious?

4. Do they have more perfections than flaws? Definitely not

5. Are they more powerful than most of the canon characters? No, most of his power comes from outwitting his enemies and/or technology.

6. Does every person of the opposite gender think they're cute/ hot/ pretty? No

7. Are they constantly described in your story as "wonderful/ gorgeous/ beautiful/ swift/ the best"? Overprotective, freak, has a temper... shall I go on?

8. Do they have more than just a couple talents/ powers? No, just one.

9. Do they have some sob story on how their parents died and how growing up was miserable? His parents did die in MHHS but it's less of a sob story and more of a I'm-so-pissed-off-at-myself-for-letting-this-happen story (yay for personality flaws that involve blaming himself for everything)

10. Do they have great hair, beautiful eyes, awesome body, and a supposed "great personality"? His hair is messy and curly, he is tall and skinny, and while he is nice, if you get on his bad side, he's a completely different person...sometimes literally. (Dun dun dunnn)

If you answered "yes" to 3/4 or more of these questions, then your OC truly is a Mary Sue. Kashioki just aced the test.
